Datsyuk did everything tonight, which makes that ending suck even more. The poor talented bastard is stuck dragging around Cleary and Abdelkader the whole game. The team was on his back tonight. Thanks for the point, Pasha... Babcock's lines are absurd, even with the injuries. The powerplay is sad. Let the best shot on the team Brunner play wing and hang around the crease, it's where he is getting his goals.

Please everyone appreciate the hell out of Pavel. He is one lf the most exceptional hockey players of all time. And he could be gone after next year. Look at the two times he undressed the Preds defense and Rinne robbed him. And the trademark steal to set up the worst player in the league for a goal. Not to mention all his fantastic defensive work. Damn he's good. Even when the team sucks, I can atleast get enjoyment out of watching him.

Cleary would clear waivers easily and he's on our top line... Babcock needs a reality check

Like I said, Calgary can pay 35% of his cap hit under the new CBA. I think J-Bow is worth 4.2M. He is most definately an upgrade to what we already have. Plus, he knows how to stay healthy.

It wasn't just a matter of Hossa or Franzen...keeping Hossa would have also likely have meant not having someone else on the team...Hossa's cap hit is like 1.4 million more than Franzen's...who that would have been...who knows...Being a GM is easy sitting behind a keyboard...

Yandle = Kronwall. I've watched a bunch of games involving the Yotes this year and noticed just that. What we're missing is a guy that's basically Ericsson with more offence. I'm waiting for Oullet and Sproul to turn pro cause I think those 2 are the real deal. What i wouldn't mind seeing though is trying to get a guy like Diaz from the Habs. We need solid Dmen for now that can keep the puck out of our net and provide occasional offence, which is why we need Huskins back in the line up. He's the only shutdown D we have not named Ericsson.
