This just popped up after another video I was watching. I thought it was hilarious.

I dont know how everyone else feels, but TaTar and Andersson have done an outstanding job as the third line. To me they have to stay up for the foreseeable future at least.

Cleary gets a tipped garbage goal on a PP and suddenly he's awesome? NOT! Tatar looks like a 2nd liner, Cleary doesn't. Tatar scored and played well even strength all night. Cleary had a better than usual game but he gets the majority of his chances because of Dats. Hell even Franzen can stand in front of the net. esteef

Yea, Franzen being out of the lineup really has resulted in a hot streak. Oh wait, this is their first win since he has been out of the lineup and they broke a 5 game losing streak. Quincey, I do agree with you. He hasn't played well.

He was screening and frustrating Rinne on kronwall's goal. 4 SOG, a couple of which were good scoring chances. He made some really nice plays on the PK. Great redirection for his goal, after taking a shot to the helmet earlier standing in front of the net. Even made a nice clear when the Preds were buzzing at the end trying to spoil Jimmy's shutout. If it were anyone but Clearly, people would be saying he had a great game.

I think the Preds have one of the best local broadcasts in the league. Im never too upset if I can't get the wings one when we play Nashville.

I think it would help to challenge on goalie interference calls. How many times have the Wings been given those BS goalie interference calls where a goal is called off? Take a look at this video and how we were ROBBED from going to overtime. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7qTMC7B8Js There are other examples as well, but I think coaches having an ability to challenge calls such as this would be HUGE.

I'm not sure how it would help the game any. Any close goals are already reviewed and if they were to challenge an offsides or icing it wouldn't really matter all that much. The only thing that would have an affect on the game is if they were able to challenge penalty calls, and I would imagine the officials would be very much against that since a percentage of those are opinion based anyways.

That was a bad pass by Dats. too far ahead of him. The Cleary bashing here has gotten absurd. I guess with Franzen and Quincey he's the only one left to scapegoat.

Abdelkader should be told that when Datsyuk is your center your are not there to think. Dig the puck, give it to Pavel, make yourself open and wait for it.

When I saw Cleary got credit for the goal, my first thought was "yah! This will increase his trade value".

He's been okay. Nice tip for the goal. But it's not like he has set the world on fire. He's ben exceptionally bad this season so he needs many more decent games before I think he has a place in the top 6. There would be a lot less Cleary 'hate' if he didn't get 20 minutes of icetime on Datsyuk's wing even when struggling badly.

If the best thing you can say about a player is that he's not doing awful things, it's not a good sign. My main problem with Abdelkader and Cleary with Datsyuk is that it's so, so obvious neither of them understands how to play with him. They're never ready for the give-and-go passes, they're always a step behind from getting to the open areas, and obviously neither of them can score on the chances he gives them. Datsyuk is creating magic out there, but it's wasted on 2 guys who think hockey on a much lower level. Tatar looks on fire, he's everwhere winning pucks and making good plays. He's got good hands around the net, as well as the vision to make good passes. Having him on the 3rd line does give us some more scoring depth, but the reasonable thing to do would be to switch him with either Cleary or Abby. Frustrating... And Zetterberg's line is looking weak. A lot of time spent defensively.

C'mon boys let's make it 3!

As long as he returns to the NHL there's no reason to think he won't break 1000 points. He could break it in 2 more seasons.

Those Selkes, Byngs and Cups would help him get in. As would his reputation as being one of the most unique players of all time. Definitely think he'd get in even if he leaves after next year. Point totals aren't everything.

I like em. I'd buy one. It's the Winter Classic....they want the jerseys to be throwback style. And I for one love tie up necks. They're more comfortable when you're playing too. looser around the neck restricts your upper body less.
