Would be nice if the Wings employed a program like that so that the Joe's lower bowl wouldn't have empty seats due to the corporate suits being too busy eating sushi to go to the game and let the real fans buy them.

Quincey kind of handcuffed him. Shouldn't of tried to go through the middle but the D to D pass shouldn't have been made. Really the only blemish on this game besides the penalty

I don't hate Cleary. I do hate ungrateful, spiteful, keyboard warriors who are unable to appreciate the fact that the reason Cleary is so ineffective is because he has given quite literally everything his body has for this team. I refuse to hate a player who has been a part of so many great moments for this team. I refuse to hate a player who continued to play in the 2009 playoffs - all the way to game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals - with a double groin tear so bad he couldn't actually walk up a flight of stairs. I refuse to hate the player who laid out Phaneuf, fought Pronger, scored the winner in game 7 against the ducks. I refuse to hate a player who took a slapshot to face and was eating through a straw for a month, who lost 20lbs of muscle that had taken a lifetime to build, and when he came back went straight to the front of the net again. So all you internet tough guys who don't have a fraction of the heart, courage and toughness that Dan Cleary has displayed in the Red + White, I suggest you all STFU and show a bit of class, dignity and gratitude.

I'm always down for a Kronner love fest. He never asked to be a #1, but he has stepped up the best he can and his game has grown because of it. He busts his ass night in and night out, and for the most part he has been nothing but solid and reliable. To me he embodies what it means to be a Red Wing--humble, classy, and hardworking.

That stretch pass up the middle to Alfie was gorgeous. That's the kind of thing we need more of from our D and maybe especially from Smith (whose big thing is puck movement, offensive instincts).

I'm willing to give him until next season before I say the signing was bad. I know he hasn't played with them all season, but being put with Cleary and Samuelsson is not exactly a recipe for success.
