I think there should be a rule about completely fabricating nicknames for players. I have no idea who Dirty Harry is, and it's annoying that I have to ask.

And who wouldn't want to play for Babs? His system stiffles offense, he consistently rewards undeserving players, and you never know who your linemates will be from shift to shift. The guy's a genius.

refs are pretty bad. the call on andy was weak. the goal shouldnt have happened and at the end of the period a trip from doughty. the wings are a good team.....when they feel like playing. which is usually only 10 mins a game and babs i dont know what your thinking, tatar found his offensive game and you play him 10 mins a game. he is the 3rd if not 2nd best offense men on this team right now. one more thing f*** YOU INJURIES

Tatar is relentless. Definitely been the Wings best player in the new year. Glad to see Sheahan get his first. I have been impressed with him in the games he has been up. Really want him to stick around this season as the fourth line center.

That was the best period Nyquist has played in a while. He hasn't been bad, but he's looked a little low on energy compared to how he usually is. When he's got the intensity that he has in this game he creates so much trouble for other teams. Also Tatar is playing fantastic hockey. He's creating something out of nothing all the time. We're going to need these guys to be at their best because we don't have a lot of skill in the lineup. I would also just love it if the defense could step up offensively. Feels like ages since Kronwall was involved in the offense other than on the PP.

I agree. I like the idea of having youth, speed, and physicality in the bottom 6. We have the worst bottom 6 identity of any Wings team I can remember. Currently we are playing slow, aging, and soft players in the bottom 6. Those kids would relish the opportunity to go hard for the duration of the 4th line minutes and try to earn their playing time. A bottom 6 next year of this would be awesome in terms of energy and effort - with some young guys developing on the 4th line: Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Alfie? Nyquist-Weiss-Franzen Tatar-Helm-Abby Miller-Sheahan-Ferraro Glendening, Callahan (rotating in on a fair basis with Ferraro and Glendening)

Oh wow, sad for TATS, wasn't his dad just on the dads trip in 24/7? Also, I don't know what's up with jimmy but I can't understand what the issue is. Most of goals scored against him recently have been straight up snap shots/wristers that beat him clean with no screen or deflection. He needs his mojo back.

They have no veteran leadership. They have no size. They have no edge. Their GM is a proud, stubborn, narcissistic dinosaur. Etc. Clarification: by "GM" I mean Kevin Lowe. I don't know what his Official Title is.
