    Architect of the 02' team. Architect of the 98' team. Architect of the 08' team. Drafts insanely well. If it were easy to make the playoffs every year then more teams would do it right? Get over it the guy is a good GM. Hadn't had much success since 09' he has to get the job done now, but don't take away from what he's done.

They have a series of NHL team focused blogs that often focuses on advanced analytics, and a number of their writers have gone on to work for NHL teams.     Been awhile since i've been able to watch a game. Mrazek looks real comfortable and confident in there. He seems to have toned down his aggressiveness unless it's needed. He just makes the stops calmly, always in position, great at playing the puck. Just keeps getting better.

    I'd be more worried about facing Boston or Montreal (with Price) if it came down to playoff hockey to be honest. They play way too big for us.

    I always look at the 120+ games guys like Pav , Nic #5 and Hank lost due to the lockouts and totals they could have had. The biggest loser on that front was Stevie Y who finished his playing career 54 pts behind Gordie, no doubt if he'd have stayed fit he would have surpassed Gordies records.
