    If we pick up Cozens and luck out on a RH 1B dmanin round 2, we could be 1 draft away from a good team. These teams we are beating are trying to beat us. This isn't the Wings getting 2nd string opponents. It's just a matter of youth/speed over old slow guys.

    Dom was decidely his own sort of person, and many did not care for him personally. He absolutely did not care what anyone thought, and was the best goalie ever to skate on NHL ice. Worked for me. Barnaby is definitely an asshat... if you have the goods, you can be a jerk. He didn't have it.

    CBJ - The schadenfreude would be delicious, but I feel like it might discourage GMs from going all in on Cup runs in the future, which would make the league more boring, which would be bad. CAR - I got no beef. Would be hilarious to see them do a Storm Surge with the Cup. The butthurt would be glorious. MTL - Easy choice. F*** the Habs. We gifted them, like, 8 points and they still might miss the playoffs. Get rekt, Frenchies.

    Yup, and the same can be said for a number of guys. Any of Podkolzin, Cozens, Dach, Byram, Zegras, Turcotte, Boldy, Krebs, etc. can go in any order in the 2-10 range. This is exactly why I'm not as concerned as some about the draft lottery. Winner the draft lottery (top 2 pick) was going to be a long shot regardless where we finish, and while I'd obviously rather get a higher pick, it doesn't really matter too much to me if we're drafting 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th. Regardless we're getting a high end prospect, and of that list, I'd be okay with just about any of them.
