I'd say they're more like $4.5-5.5M, and I wouldn't sign either, unless it's with the plan to flip them for assets at the deadline.
McIsaac isn't making the team out of camp next season. I'd say he's at least one full season away.
With an extra long off-season, I expect DeKeyser to be fully healthy, and finally play close to a full season again.

This would be a terrible trade. People are turning on Cholowski way too quickly. He hasn't been great, but he's still only 22 years old, and has shown great offensive upside in both Grand Rapids and Detroit. If he can figure out the defensive end, he could be a reliable top four defenseman. Worst case scenario, he's a better version of Brendan Smith, and we held onto him until he was 28, and still got a 2nd and 3rd round pick for him. Trading Cholowski now for a 2nd OR 3rd round pick would be terrible asset management.
