kylee 727 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 How random. It's so clear he came back to the NHL and just signed with whatever team would pay him the most. 1 LidsFan reacted to this

ShanahanMan 473 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 I think this is simply a way for Dallas to sell tickets. No one's going to their games anymore. 1 Greatness=PavelDatsyuk reacted to this
turbowhistle86 155 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 This opens the door for Ryan, Nash or Parise to end up in Philly.....not good.

VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 Man, Jagr has just been a poster child for putting money above all else, hasn't he? This opens the door for Ryan, Nash or Parise to end up in Philly.....not good. I don't get what you mean. Jagr was a UFA, he wasn't in Philly's plans anyway so how does this change the situation? 2 turbowhistle86 and Hockey13Playa reacted to this
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 If I was his age, and someone offered me big bucks, I'd sign up too. He's won it all. If he wins it again, that's great, but if not, he's playing the game he loves, getting paid well and seeing the world. Who could ask for more?
rrasco 1,312 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 I think this is simply a way for Dallas to sell tickets. No one's going to their games anymore. I do. Well, two of them anyways.
turbowhistle86 155 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 I don't get what you mean. Jagr was a UFA, he wasn't in Philly's plans anyway so how does this change the situation? I hadn't heard that Philly had zero interest in signing him back. UFA doesn't mean that he has to go to another team...they could have only been in the running for one of the other players mentioned, now they have the space (both cap and roster) to land multiple "big fish"
frankgrimes 1,836 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 *lol* worst UFA signing so far. Now everyone can see why Jagr came back, what a tool.

haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted July 4, 2012 Pretty much agree with what's been said. It's an odd choice for a 40 yr old. I don't know if Philly made any offer for him to stay, but headed to Dallas it's pretty clear he's content to be just a hired gun somewhere.

amato 3,210 Report post Posted July 4, 2012 Lol all Jagr cares about is money.. Side note tho.. Stars are making some decent moves. Whitney and Jagr and they got the better end of that Roy trade IMO
