Wings got bullied to the outside the whole game but that's what a good goalie can do for you. I think we were good to not give up very high quality chances other than a few but definitely were badly outplayed. Ericsson just can't do anything right out there. Sharks have a good forecheck and he missed quite a bit of time so hopefully he can regain his form. Wings got outmuscled badly. Frustrating to watch. Nyqvist doesn't exist in hockey games like this Good comment on Nyquist. He's a liability in playoff style hockey games. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Larkin-Richards-Sheahan is a very nice line but the top six is just not threatening. I've never noticed how our size was such a disadvantage until this year. It makes us slower than we should be coming up ice. When you watch good teams play they take their ice, they don't weave through the opposing team. Defense had a rough night but I think that's because the Sharks played one of their better games, they must be frustrated lol. We still limited their high quality chances despite being outplayed and Mrazek was there to bail us out. Great goaltending, good forechecking and a couple of superb touchpasses in the middle zone made the difference that allowed us the 2 points. GG. Mrazek coming along nicely. How about that stick save on the puck that was already behind his body. We're getting spoiled at the moment. If he keeps it up we might actually move past the first round!
