Probably where Stevie started.  Vancouver wants to shed OEL and Myers bad.  My guess is Zadina stays out of the deal.  Taking on Vancouvers 13.25 mil next year and 3 more years of OEL at 7.2 mil should be enough leverage.  Will leave us with some nice trade chips going forward as well.

youre being trolled, bro.  why you keep feeding?

TDA is a racist bigot, Want no part of that locker room cancer on the team.

Givani Smith isnt on the team anymore so that shouldnt be a problem

So what does everyone think about bringing back Chiasson as the 13th forward? Guy can still score goals and keep up. Thoughts?

Would be a good thing. Better to have a guy like him sitting out games than calling up a prospect to do the same.

He replaced Sunny on the PP as the fatass net front guy. Thats why he looked good. Other than that hes slow and bad 5v5. Wouldnt be mad at about it, but id rather sign a better player. We already have enough bad bottom 6ers in Veleno and Zadina.

He was underrated, IMO. He can score in tight and is another RH, which the team needs more of.

Saw him up close at LCA in the win over Boston. Didn't think he looked out of place. He isn't overly talented, but would be a decent depth F.

Could become the F version of Lashoff.

He's definitely a specialist, and probably not someone you want playing a ton of even strength minutes. But the Wings can't score, and Chiasson does that fairly well. Not a bad option to have coming out of the press box in my opinion.

I'm all for bringing him back on a cheap one year $900K deal, He was very solid for us on the PP and we can use another big body and the 4th line along with Elmer and Ras.

He just spewed a lot of racial slurs both in Tampa and with the Rangers. He's just a major locker room cancer.

No reason not to. Even if he's just a power play specialist, our games are generally going to be won and lost with special teams.

He spewd slurs in the OHL, not with the bolts, and definitely not with the rags.

I always find it funny when a crappy journeyman gets romanced.

Chiasson is a pleasant surprise, but not anyone you re-up. Kamper was great in GR. We game him away for free. SY will drop Chiasson and position us for something better.

Wrong i'm a Lightning season ticket holder, He spewed a lot of racial slurs in Tampa, Hence why Yzerman moved him and he also spewed them with the Rangers hence why Rangers moved him. I sat right behind Tampa's bench and could hear his slurs. That's why i know from fact that he used racist slurs in Tampa.

Were you also a season ticket holder in NYC?

Tony DeAngelo Bio

DeAngelo was selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round (No. 19) in the 2014 NHL Draft after he led all Ontario Hockey League defensemen with 71 points (15 goals, 56 assists) for Sarnia in 2013-14. DeAngelo signed a three-year, entry-level contract on Dec. 2, 2014.

On Jan. 8, 2015, Sarnia traded him to Sault Ste. Marie, where he finished the season with 89 points (25 goals, 64 assists), again leading all defensemen in the OHL. He won the award for top defenseman in the OHL (Max Kaminsky Trophy) and the Canadian Hockey League (Superstore Defenseman of the Year).

DeAngelo spent his first pro season with Syracuse of the American Hockey League in 2015-16, finishing with 43 points (six goals, 37 assists) in 69 games.

At the 2016 NHL Draft, he was acquired by the Arizona Coyotes in a trade with the Lightning. He began the season with Tucson of the AHL but was recalled by the Coyotes on Nov. 7, 2016 and made his NHL debut the following night, scoring his first NHL goal in a 4-2 win against the Colorado Avalanche.

DeAngelo had 14 points (five goals, nine assists) in 39 games for Arizona, but was acquired by the New York Rangers along with the No. 7 pick in the 2017 NHL Draft for forward Derek Stepan and goalie Antti Raanta on June 23, 2017. DeAngelo split the 2017-18 season between the Rangers and Hartford of the AHL. He had eight points, all assists, in 32 games with New York before missing the final 12 games with an ankle injury.

DeAngelo had his first NHL hat trick and scored five points in a 6-3 win against the New Jersey Devils on Jan. 9, 2020.

DeAngelo was waived by the Rangers on Feb. 1, 2021, and after clearing waivers was assigned to the taxi squad. The Rangers bought out the final year of his contract July 24, 2021, and he signed a one-year contract with the Carolina Hurricanes four days later.

DeAngelo had a career high 41 assists with the Hurricanes in the 2021-2022 season and in 14 playoff games had 10 points (one goal, nine assists).

On July 8, 2022, DeAngelo was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers and signed a two-year, $5 million contract three days later.
