Even if we won I am not so sure I would have enjoyed playing the Kings. They are big, strong and Quick is unreal right now...

I thought all along we would beat the Kings.

Funny that Filppula's last shift as a Wing might be something only less comical than Kopecky's last shift with the Wings.  

Better team won. We were lucky to take it to game 7, and even to OT.

I blame Filppula for being completely invisible for this game.  

Good season, yada yada, it's clear this team needs offense. I should feel proud but I'm just annoyed they blew a 3-1 lead and become just another victim of the Hawks.

There's no reason Cory Emmerton should be getting all your good chances in a game 7.

I would gladly trade all those points for him not screwing up so much.  How many times has he basically scored for the other team?

He was Anaheim's best player in round 1, and he's been Chicago's best player in round 2.  

I'm proud this team has played best with their backs against the wall.  Winning out late in the season and then beating Anaheim twice, all while facing elimination.

I just wish the team wouldn't make it so damn hard on themselves.  They haven't made anything come easy this year.    

 

Uh...  DUH!...  You have "met" GMR before right?  Or at least seen his/her work on here?  Some people just don't really thrive on the whole positive outlook phenomenon and it works for them. 

I tried being positive here once, for a week or so, but got several complaints and wasn't good at it in general.  

 

Do you live on this site just to spread negativity 24/7? Take a breather, get some sleep..get your happy boots on and attempt to be positive and cheer this team on Wednesday night.

It gives one of the best coaches in the game some time to work his magic.

Babcock is a great coach, but he's not the reason we beat Anaheim in game 7.  Line combos are only as good as the players who either do or don't show up.

If Datsyuk, Zetterberg and Franzen don't show up for game 7, we won't win.  Babcock can't turn s*** into candy.

You know what?  That was the worst call tonight and that's going some.   Howard has stood on his head for this team throughout the playoffs.  I'm sick to death of these simplistic knee-jerk responses from some posters here.  GET.REAL.

I agree, but he should have challenged the shooter better.  

Then again, we probably wouldn't have scored that 3rd goal if Howard stopped that shot.  Just wasn't happening for the Wings tonight.  

Just give dekeyser a few shots and send him out there next game for smith.

Or send the headless horseman out there.  

I'll certainly take a one armed Dekeyser over a guy who is wearing clown shoes on every other shift.

So I didn't get to watch the game (except for the last few minutes).  Anybody want to give me a summer...without blaming the refs?

He's not exactly 18 years old either.  I thought this guy was overripe.  

It's time for Zetterberg to step up again.

It'd be nice to have Draper playing against Tayes, while Zetterberg can focus on actually playing offense.  

Maybe Helm could have been used for that role if he were still alive.  

 

What's the alternative? An ice cold white?
