I'm convinced people choose not to see what Bertuzzi does well.

Just in case I'm not nervous enough going into a game 7, I've got something additional on the line. I'm a DJ at a radio station in Canada and it just so happens that one of the other DJ's is a Coyotes fan, so before the series started we made a nasty bet on air. I went on his show one morning to challenge him to a bet and the stakes got raised pretty quick. In the end we decided on the loser has to come on the others show and eat something disgusting on air. If the Coyotes lose (god I hope they do) he has to eat a smoothie with raw octopus in it! But if the Wings lose I have to eat a smoothie filled with raw hot dogs and smelly cheese. By the way, cheese is my least favourite thing to eat. He's calling it his 'Desert Dog Smoothie.' So hopefully the Wings pull off a game 7 victory and I can torture a Phoenix fan with some octopus! Let's go Wings!!!

As I said yesterday, it seems like 3 years since we last had a comeback in the 3rd period of a playoff game. If I'm not mistaken, I think the last time was that game against San Jose where Lang scored with the goalie pulled. Now we've had some good playoff runs the last few years and have had tremendous talent, yet for some reason we're just not a come from behind team. Why? I will give us credit for protecting leads very well in 3rd periods over that stretch, but unfortunately it hasn't worked the other way around. With other teams pulling off two or three goal comebacks all the time, it'd be nice to see us do it too. Seems like when we go into the 3rd trailing, the game is over. I hope this changes soon.

Ozzie more or less is a lifer. The only reason he was traded (to the celebration of Isles fans, where he did quite well) was because the Wings had a shot at landing the #1 goaltender of all time.. not because they didn't feel Ozzie couldn't be backup to him, but because it would have been unfair to Ozzie, a very successful starting goaltender who was in the midst of his prime. I think it's obvious how the organization feels about Ozzie, both for giving him that trade, later on bringing him back despite questions about his continued ability, and from how the players constantly talk about him and seem to show him the utmost respect. I know most goalies get respect from their players to some degree, but he seems genuinely and universally liked in the locker room.

Eh, every team has to deal with bad calls. Hockey is a fast game, and mistakes will be made. If you want to blame the refs for the loss go ahead, I tend to blame it on 3 goals in less than a 2 minute strech in the first period.

over the last 2 games hes been playing much better compared to when the playoffs started. i doubt his knee is 100% yet too. i do see him attempt a big hit sometimes but then last min he looks like he serves out of the way

Jiri: "I thought you said you were tapped? I wasn't expecting that much... and how is it untaxed... I'm confused? What's the catch?" Kenny: "Go to the KHL for a year... then when Nick's new contract is done, we'll be able to give you like 2.5 a year for a couple years and bring you back here, then when that contract is up, we'll re-evaluate it then... plus... hookers are legal over there Jiri..." Jiri: "ok... tell me how we get this done..."

I dont have a photoshop to post, but is anyone else excited that we actually have some sharks fans on here posting stuff? Its a nice change of pace from playing the Coyotes when we couldnt even find a fan let alone one that would join in on the topic and have some fun! +1 for sharks fans in my book. some of their stuff is actually really funny too! Gotta love when hockey fans, regardless of which team they root for, can come together and have some good fun!

I'm sure there's a ton of SJS fans that say that n then crucify bertuzzi every chance they get too though that is assuming you aren't a sjs fan
