Datsyuk is the most complete, but Ovechkin is a scoring machine and is one of the 2 best players in hockey. Kind of hard to say that he's not the best Russian player in the league. Not his fault he didn't play with the 2002 Wings or with Lidstrom and Zetterberg in the playoffs. He has a lot more pressure on him than what Datsyuk has ever had in Detroit. Other Caps players just let him down in the postseason these last few years.

I agree, as long as the money isn't too ridiculous. Maybe tell him that the Wings plan to keep him around as long as he is healthy and producing. With how he plays, there is a significant risk for plaguing injuries.

TRUTH. I go to school in indiana and that's all i hear about, it's so annoying. But i think the flyers can do it. someone beat me to it and posted a lot of a talent that ppl overlook. philly is sound defensively, not just with defensemen but two way forwards. Mike richards is an animal in that department. I think too many ppl are just looking a big names, everyone needs to remember that this is hockey, not basketball, and any team can win on any night.
