I know someone who was going thru a hard time and try to take thier own life...and now 22 yrs later she is the best thing that has ever happened to me, so I married her. She's pregnant with our child right now. Looking at her now, no one would ever believe she ever tried to kill herself. She doesn't waste a moment, overfilling with life, motivates me, challenges me, and inspires me. Good job Ron and "other guy".

Lidstrom also has an immeasurable lead over Pronger in class and honor. Unlike Pronger, Lidstrom has accomplished everything in his amazing career without ever once playing dirty hockey.

I'd rather see Pronger and Philly with the cup then Chicago. Pronger winning a Conn Smythe won't put his career over Lidstrom's anyways. At least not with level headed fans.

I have been watching Pronger play for many years and I feel pretty comfortable representing the majority of Red Wings fans when I say I never want to see that gap tooth piece of s*** wearing the whinged wheel.

legitimately name me one player in the history of the NHL with a statement of how they are more of a ****** than pronger... can't think of one? that's what i thought. that's why most of us care if pronger wins the conn smythe, and the cup for that matter. he is a prick of epic proportions. i wish that the sens hadn't s*** the bed and beat the ducks when they won the cup. pronger would be pushing 40 with no cup.

Once again you completely have no idea the basis upon which Leino was moved. Do some reading. Nobody is asking you because everybody who pays attention knows why Leino was moved. You obviously don't. Brett Lebda is a defenseman. Not much of a point in getting rid of a defenseman for a forward to replace when you still have to put a defenseman in the lineup anyway.

If Philly wins i dont see how it could go to anyone other than Briere. Even with Pronger i still would rather see Philly win the cup. I wouldn't mind seeing Briere,Gagne,Timmonen and Leino get a ring. There isnt anyone on the Hawks that im like "Hey i would like to see that guy win a Championship" combined with their obnoxious fans....no thanks ill take Philly.

To all the guys who are questioning whether or not Cindy is good looking: Yes, he is- if you're a teenage girl. If Cindy had a great personality, carried himself well, was gracious in defeat and humble in victory, and if he was allowed to make a name for himself based on his performance rather than having his name hyped every thirty seconds by a announcers who seem to find the sound of it to be an erotic experience, maybe- just maybe - he would achieve the status that they are trying to force upon him. And maybe we'd actually like him.

You honestly think this team can compete for a Cup????? I didn't say they wouldn't win or make the playoffs, I said they weren't going to win a Cup until Draper, Maltby, Lidstrom, Holmstrom, etc. have moved on.

This team will be better by virtue of the fact that they couldn't possibly be hit with the injury bug any worse than they were last year. Hudler is a reasonable upgrade from Williams because when you overlook the fact that both are lazy backcheckers, Hudler can actually shoot, score regularly, and run a powerplay, and he isn't a locker room cancer. Howard will get another year under his belt, though I felt that he played too much last year and would like to see Osgood start 20-25 games if Babcock will let him. Will this team win the President's Trophy? Probably not, but unless you're Washington or San Jose, who has wet dreams about earning that meaningless piece of hardware? They should be neck-and-neck with Chicago for the Central, and probably finish 3rd or 4th in the West with 1st round home ice advantage.
