How could one hear anything Lidstrom says over the sounds of Angel's singing and the sound of vast amount of coinage falling around him because of how money he is.

I guarantee you that as long as Lidstrom is on the Wings and under 50, he will not "sit" a game in the National Hockey League.

We didn't deserve any additional calls. The PP was absolutely abysmal tonight, so all the "missed" calls probably wouldn't have saved us.

The black and white striped old-timey bathing costumes (that's what they were called in those days) were a traditional outfit you wear when you go to this resort that's near Emma's hometown. If Nick plays til he's relegated a to a 5/6 defenseman, there's a really good chance he'll be playing if/when his sons get into the NHL. If he keeps to that statement, he'll be playing at 60.

I don't think it does. It shows that the Wings are smart enough to know that the playoffs are right around the corner and grinding out a sure win in order to keep a 7-1 score in tact isn't as important as staying fresh. TBH, I just don't think teams see this as the Wings being vulnerable. Every professional on every team at the NHL level knows why those goals were scored and it wasn't because the Wings are vulnerable.

No team is going to be playing hard in a 7-1 blowout in the playoffs.
