I do like the inclusion of the Grand Rapids Griffins schedule, but I'm trying to find an effective way of applying it to the current rendition without it getting too busy -- especially at smaller resolutions. Speaking of (slightly) smaller resolutions: You can now use the LGW Calendar Schedule Wallpaper on your iPhone4/S and your iPad/2! The iPhone4 version is specifically formatted for your lock screen. I'd love your feedback on these! (Specifically the iPad version -- I don't personally own one, so I wasn't able to test the layout against any pre-existing lock screen issues like I could with the iPhone4. Also, I'm definitely open to adding versions for Android devices -- but I'd base it on the highest, most-popular screen resolution and I'd need a template guide to avoid the same on-screen o/s features.) Yes, we have become friends over the years. He's really a nice guy...and he could be captain material. Maybe his English isn't perfect, but sometimes the best captain leads by example instead of words, and I think he would do that very well.

The "C" isn't just about the being the best player on the team, it's also about the most capable to lead and unfortunately for Pasha, the language barrier HAS to factor in there as well for communicating with refs, press events, team meetings, etc... when the unthinkable happens, the new captain will STILL be Z and if it's not, there's a better chance it would be Kronwall than Dats...

Another great game by Datysuk, this time against Boston. Pavel had a slow start (as usual), but he's really brought back his game. All things considered, there's no doubt he'll be the next to lead the Wings. That Pasha magic is best in the league - bar none.

I guess it’s a matter of interpretation… the way I heard what he said was, the Wings made a questionable change with eight guys on the ice and got the jump on Tampa. Otherwise why specify there were EIGHT guys, let alone emphasize it and draw a big yellow arrow to it. Perhaps it could be blamed on the ambiguity of the English language… or Eddie is a giant bag of ******. My opinion is the latter.

If Ericsson looks at the score sheet and has even a notion that his role on this team is the same as White's then he's a fool. Babcock's been very clear with what he expects of E-- PK time, minute eating, being physical around the net and providing a big, strong presence on the back end. Offense is an afterthought with Ericsson. White's role is the same as Rafalski's was-- being a smart, point-producing guy who can provide a spark on the PP and make that crisp first pass that gets things going. Painting Ericsson as playing the same role as White is like saying Stuart is failing for not producing numbers like Kronwall since he's been here in Detroit.
