I'm getting so damn tired of seeing fights after clean hits. It seems goons are taking over this game in a bad way... I think this looks clean to me, the announcers seem like morons...

But no subsequent conference call with all the officials telling them to pull their heads out of their asses? Oh wait...

I just saw the Crosby post-game interview, how embarrassing. "I don't like anyone on that team." "what was i supposed to do? Hand him his glove?" It sounded like a ten year old. This is the face of the NHL and the captain of his squad? That dude pretty much solidified everyone's notion that he is indeed a little *****. Though I don't wish anything long term on the guy, but I wouldn't mind seeing him get his ass kicked pretty good a couple times.

I'm sure someone will do it sooner or later. Also, the blame lays at the refs feet for this game. Neal should have been giving 5 minutes and a match after the hit on Courtourier. Instead, he stays out there and almost decapitates Giroux on the next shift. Absolutely disgusting show by the officials. The league should be ashamed.

I know the start on time theme has been discussed frequently and rightfully so. While I would be thrilled with a full 60 minute effort, I also believe the Red Wings lack of engagement in games is due to the officiating so far. Game 1 was a disaster and today the Red Wings were killing penalties most of the first and half of the second including the 5-on-3. Once the refs laid off, the Red Wings took over the game but by then the hole was already 2-0. The more even strength play this series sees, the more it swings in Detroit's favor. The PK has been really good, but on the ice too much and it disrupts any momentum. I hate to blame it on the refs because Nashville came out more ready to play, but having so much time on the powerplay certainly enhanced their ability to establish a lead.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are a disgrace to the NHL. If Lemieux doesn't call out his team, he should never get a shred of respect from ANYONE.

The only thing they got going for them at this moment is probably the first tee times of any NHL playoff team. I've heard most of the Penguins are pretty good golfers

I just want to see our current roster play like they want it more than the Preds. This series will be won on bounces, and it's te hungrier team that gets the bounces.
