What time is it? 8 past Luongo

The D has gone through major changes between this and last season, and constant minor changes due to injuries during the season. Kronner is the only Dman that has played every game so far. This means constant shifting of partners, players who are less experienced, players with different skill sets, and getting to know new people. All of this takes time to gel. In a normal season, and in a normal year, we would have had Lids and Stuart as constants and only be changing the bottom pair or two every game. Whether you have two offensive or two defensive Dmen or one of each, it's going to be a different style of play. With new players, it takes time to learn where they fit in and how their styles fit in together. A pair who knows each other well can accommodate for a guy like Kronner who takes the risk of losing his assignment to Kronwall a guy. If his partner knows it's coming, he can be ready to cover for him. A guy like Kronner likes to head to the slot to shoot. If the partner is expecting him to stay on the point, there's going to be miscommunication. You can watch film on the new guy, but only experience practicing and playing together really makes you able to read and complement each other. That's what's been missing this season. Hopefully it will gel before the playoffs.

WTF is all this 2.0 bull? Can't a player be a player? Brunner is Brunner...period. He has 10 goals in 19 games, which would equate to apprx. 42 goals over an entire season. He is/was a great find and we have Stacy Roest to thank for him, not Andersson, not Holland. He should be re-signed, he should get about $2M and he should be our best scorer since Hossa. He has proven he can play in the NHL and deserves to stay. No way Holland lets this guy walk, he didn't cost him an asset or a draft pick. He is found money basically. But in no way is he anyone 2.0...he is Damien Brunner and he has arrived in the NHL...Thank you Stacy.

I love reading the butthurt on Vancouver's forum. The best part was so many fans accusing Bettman of having a Crosby-esque love affair with the Wings.

Not to mention he's been a +5 in the past few days, but his plus/minus isn't what's exciting here. Lidstrom was a scoring machine, sure Kronwall isn't going to match the defensive godliness of Nick but what player in the current NHL does? Having Kronner step in and produce like this so far is very assuring for this team, he doesn't need to be traded or bought out, he needs to stay right here. The more he's scoring and the more we are winning the more confidence he will build and begin to improve all aspects of his game. Congrats Kronwall, keep it up!

Tonight's game left Kronwall with 16 points in 19 games, good for #1. He may be having defensive troubles, but he's doing #1 d-man work in the offensive zone.

Is it just me, or is this season more interesting and exciting to watch then the years when we'd steamroll the West? With the way the League is set up and 8 teams making the playoffs, our season was usually done by December. This year regular season games mean more. I'm not being ungrateful, I've appreciated everything I've watched the last 21 years with this team, but I find myself watching more regular season games this year.

I just hope we makes the playoff and keep the streak alive

So is it too early to order my Damien Brunner jersey? lol The guy is a phenomenal addition to our team. Really hope Holland gets him signed to an extension.

The LGW Suicide Prevention Line will be back to being quiet at least for a few days. If someone can figure this team out let me know lol.

It takes about 10 mins to talk to someone and have them get your IP and fix it all for you. I had the same thing going on. I had every wings game blocked and im in Texas until I talked to them and they fixed it for me now i get every game unless they play dallas.
