Bruins look tired... they're gonna get run over and be sorry they didn't go harder out there. I have already decided this Cup doesn't really count, due to the stupid lock out. Therefore any awards like MVP don't count either.

Solid logic. May I jump on this bandwagon? I'm wearing my Michelle Pfeiffer jersey...

How will she take it back after the game?

heehee!! Did you hear the Nothing But Chicago team bragging about how Rocky Wirtz sells this team 24/7 for the past 5 or 6 years??? ROTFL!! Most of Chicago didn't know they HAD a hockey team. Michelle Pfeiffer needs to cut the sale tags off that jersey and hat she had on. Just sayin....

Since it's Eklund, it means that the Wings and Flyers are NOT pursuing Ryan.

please don't get me going on my obsession for the Wings to acquire Ryan. I would love it! It would be costly though. nah...buyout Sammy and Bert. Trade for Ryan, sign Weiss. Offense problems solved.

The one they should make illegal is the Patrick Kane "Come to a complete stop & stick handle for 2 minutes" move

Wish they would quit calling Kane the "little ball of hate." No. That was Pat Verbeek... Of course, Hawks fans have only been watching a couple of years, so they wouldn't know there was hockey in 1990's.

Oh get off your high horse, Loo. They've been fans for like...a month and a half now. I can't believe you.

    Saddledome Under Water

I wonder if this is just God's way of saying that there's too much diving in the NHL nowadays. The way teams like Sharks and Canucks play you'd think their arenas were flooded too.

People seem to forget how invisible that guy can become. Heis not worth the price tag that would come along with him at all. We need a gritty top 6 forward, not another franzen. Having said that, if franzen was one of the things going the other way, id be all for it.

How about keep the shootout format, but instead of it being a penalty shot, have 2 d-men and the goalie on one side and 3 forwards on the other. The forwards enter the zone, the d can't steal the puck-only block shots, and the play ends when either a goal is scored or the goalie covers the puck. Kind of a team shootout, with no time for a spin-o-rama.

Here NHL, I've fixed it for you: "NHL Considering Ban on Shootout." Ahhh, much better.

When they design the new building, I hope they remember to make the seats more "fan friendly". We're not all 50 pound 10 year old girls! I'm only 5'10" & my knees dig into the seat in front of me. And the fact that I am, how should I say it, a little "wide", it's a hell of a process even trying to grease myself up to try & slide into one of the seats at the Joe! Heck, my brother in law, who goes to some games with me, is of average hieght/build, and he has trouble fitting in the seats! Just a couple extra inches in seat width & a few more inches of leg room would make a trip to the Pizza Dome a lot more pleasant than the Joe. The seats in Saginaw at the Dow Event Center are perfect... wide enough for us big guys, and plenty of leg room. Granted, a much smaller arena, but they should be able to do it. I have been in other big arenas with wider seats/more legroom. The Pizza Dome... lol... I am assuming this will be "Little Caesar's Arena" or something stupid... but what SHOULD the new arena be called (not a 'sponsor' name)? Wings Stadium?

    Class Act Organization

I've been casually viewing this site for awhile but until today I never felt the need to share my opinion. Today, however, was different. My brother was diagnosed with leukemia while playing junior hockey in Saskatchewan earlier this year and he had a bone marrow transplant a couple months ago in Calgary (he's had to live there for the last several months due to the lack of facilities in Sask.). We have been die-hard Red Wings fans since we were really young and it's been a dream of ours to someday watch a game at the Joe but today he experienced the next best thing. Mike Babcock gave him a call this morning and invited him to the Wings practice in Calgary and invited him to meet all of the Wings. Every single Red Wing took the time to not only introduce themselves but genuinely get to know him. He was encouraged by Dats and Zets to stick around for practice prep and to come back after practice for some autographs. Ken Holland offered him tickets for tomorrow's game and Babs invited him back tomorrow to once again hang out with the Wings after their morning skate. For a kid who's been through a lot in recent months, he was on cloud nine today. The Wings have always been my favorite team but today they turned it up a notch. I was absolutely blown away by everything today and I think it's safe to say we all cheer for one of the classiest organizations in the NHL .
