    I do.I think hes overcompensating for the fact that he used to be a wing, and prove hes not giving preferential treatment to them. He's soiled his sheets twice on clear cut suspensions, its embarrassing.

    I never like seeing anyone take a puck to the face like that. As much as I disliked Weber's head smash on Hank, I was angrier about the lack of punishment. He's one of those guys who sometimes plays on the edge, he just should've paid the price for it, both from the Wings and the league. I'd still take Weber on the Wings in a heartbeat. Hank could smash his face into the glass during practice and they can call it even.

I had always assumed it was smooth sailing from the very beginning, but apparently it wasn't... Makes me think the seeds for Alfie's departure were planted long ago.

    I've been waiting for this game since last Saturday's game. The Sens knocked the Wings all over the ice last game. It's time for the Wings to pay back the favors (I wouldn't be disappointed if Spezza or Ryan get knocked out for a few games from the "legal" hits that Shanny is going to overlook). It sucks that 22 can't be called up but I'm hoping that some other players step up and play a more physical game.

    Thanks so much you guys. My family and I have the good fortune to know my approximate timeline. We can live each day accordingly, and plan for the time when I am not around anymore. Stefan Liv and his family and friends had no such luxury. He was stolen from them in a moments notice without warning.

    I hope the Dept of Player Safety takes this one right in the ass. "Oh, we couldn't have possibly known he was that hurt." And that is why suspensions should be based on intent and legality of the play and not the resulting injury.

    I actually really like the idea of Mantha being Bertuzzi's replacement on the top line. It'll never happen, but what better way to learn then playing with Zetterberg and Datsyuk? The guy is massive, has unreal skill, and speaks like a guy who wants to buck the trend of waiting to be a Wing. Probably never going to happen, but I'd like to see it.

    Couple thoughts. 1. Alfredsson's contract is not "bad" 2. Bert will not be coming off the books. He'll re-sign unless Holland gets visited by a poltergeist 3. "Jurco makes a push"? He'll make this team before Mantha and Jarnkrok. They'll both spend next year in GRs before making the jump IMO. 4. I'd expect DeKeyser to get 2.5 - 3M. 5. We will have enough cap space to sign a Vanek, a Marleau, or a Dan Boyle. Whether they want to come here or not is another issue.
