Like the lines although don't see Blashill putting in jurco or pulkkinen with 5 games remaining ... Think datsyuk and zetterberg need to be split up and put with younger kids ... Didn't athanasiou mantha have chemistry in Grand Rapids? What about Athanasiou datsyuk mantha Larkin zetterberg nyquist Tatar sheahan abdelkader Glendening helm Richards Sheahan has been scoring a few goals lately so maybe keeping him on the 3rd line is best for now, had it with Tatar and nyquist so maybe moving one up and moving abdelkader down it'll do something? Lineup changes won't make a different regardless unless our goalies start making key saves 4 rookies ... Larkin athanasiou mantha marchenko , and let's not forget pulkkinen although he hasn't played as much I'm pissed at how we're playing but don't know why people are shocked , this is what I been saying for along time we needed to call up some kids to blend in with the vets now instead of having 3-4 rookies a season for the next few years We got ouellet sproul Jensen in the backend all out of waivers next year so more headaches in the backend for sure next season Trades will need to happen in the off season to address our problem in the back end

If we were to go 5-0 (I don't expect us to) we would be in, regardless of what any other team does... We're 1 point back of Boston with one game remaining against them, so we would finish with 97 points and the most Boston would be able to get is 96... Regardless that game a week from today, could and likely will determine whether we get in or miss...

Against my better judgment, I will try and be optimistic about our chances. DETROIT April 1st - VS MIN (This will be the 2nd game of a back to back, as well as the 3rd game in 4 nights for MIN) April 2nd - @ TOR (They have done way too much winning the past 2 weeks, currently sit in a 3 way tie for #1 overall in the draft lottery) April 6th - VS PHI (Among the 16 current playoff teams, PHI has registered the fewest road victories - 3 fewer than us) April 7th - @ BOS (This is what our season comes down too - BOS has lost 6 of its last 7 games) April 9th - @ NYR (This will be the last game of the season for both teams, very likely a game without standings implication for NYR) BOSTON April 1st - @ STL (STL has the 2nd most Points in the NHL, 8-2-0 in its past 10) April 3rd - @ CHI (CHI is 24-11-3 at home, Fighting to fend Nashville off) April 5th - VS CAR (Realistically, BOS probably wins this game) April 7th - VS DET (This is what their season comes down too - DET has been long overdue for a goal-tending performance from Mrazek) April 9th - VS OTT (Hopefully it doesn't come down to this) All in all, stranger things have happened

Nope. I'm so pale that I've actually been blinded by the reflection off my arm. I do not tan. I burn in blotches. I've tried laying out but ended up with burnt skin. I was sitting next to a friend once who had very dark black skin. He put our arms next to each other and pronounced me the whitest Caucasian he'd ever seen. The person below me likes avocados.

To the point where I accidentally flooded my apartment once. (one of the dishes fell and covered the water drain in the dishwasher) TPBM used to go tanning/ or still does.

He isn't being crucified. Calling it like it is - he simply sucks right now. We have 5 games and need to win. Do you really think Mrazek is more likely to give us the wins we need more than Howard is? If so, what makes you think that? Because Mrazek has a GAA of 3.81 ish in March while Howard has 2.8 ish - that's a huge difference using a month long data set (not just one or two games). Even with "eye ball tests" you could tell Mrazek is off. I mean his form is completely different than it was in January. He's been playing way out, he simply can't move as quick as he used to post to post. He's been giving a crap ton of rebounds (something we rarely saw in January). Even if Howard is say only a "tiny bit better" I'd go with a "tiny bit better" with 5 games left. This isn't a time to gamble with our chances and hope Mrazek somehow pulls out of it.

Howard really hasn't been that much better. Not terrible but he's still giving up two or three. I think we all know on any given night it's a fifty fifty flip as to who wins, so Blashill needs to stick with Mrazek. Or at least not pull him and split the games instead. I don't know why people want to crucify Mrazek and suddenly love Howard. We shouldn't judge Mrazek as badly as we do Howard because he's only had two months of sub par play. Howard has had years of pissing us off and we know with his track record he's not the guy for this team.

The bad news is that we suck.

I recommend everyone actually read the GDT post. It's the best I've seen. Probably the funniest thing I've seen on this website in a while. Editting the post to inform that I'm still laughing.
