    Simon Edvinsson is WAY too good to be in the AHL and we need to get him on the team pronto. I'm having a hard time figuring out what the team is trying to accomplish here. Lalonde said Edvinsson won't get called up so long as they have 7 healthy dmen. But he's obviously better than 4 (maybe 5) of them. I understand showcasing guys before the deadline and all, but we can't be throwing away points at this time of year and he's quite obviously a difference maker.

    Well, if being a Wings fan gets you down, just think that the Pistons are looking to complete a "No Win November" tonight. Their last win back in October was against the Chicago Bulls. A loss to the Knicks tonight would be their 16th straight, breaking their single season record they set ... last night against the Lakers. LGW!

Confirming once and for all that Chicago was NEVER hockey town, and Obama and the Hawks trying to steal that title back in the 2010s can suck my temptations humming, American car driving, hockey enjoying, nuts.

    Apparently Stevie flew to Tronna to personally evaluate Kane and meet with him face to face. And that was one of the reasons Kane signed. Stevie on evaluation of Kanes surgery: "I am on tonight, you know that his hips do not lie, and I am starting to feel this is right. The attraction. The tension. Do you not see that this is perfection?"

    Emily Kaplan reporting that Kane settled on Detroit after meeting with Lalonde, whom he was very impressed by. She's also saying that Kane has been telling teams he knows he needs to earn his spot in the lineup and does not expect to be on line 1 or PP1 from day 1.

    Perry would help this team. He plays with an attitude (something no other Red Wings does) and is good around the net. Signing him almost guarantees a Cup Finals loss, which I'll take at this point.
