Missed the fisticuffs but when Cally took that hit to the boards earlier my first reaction was, "Oh no! He can't afford to lose anymore teeth!"

After taking that penalty I really wish Cleary would have just buried the puck in the net for the hell of it. Go out on top! Lol.

3-on-3 overtime is alright. I'm sure there will be some interesting combinations and action over the course of the season.

Looked clean to me but I haven't seen a replay. Looked like Bertuzzi got his head up at the very last second and Holland got a big piece of him. Thankfully AA was being awesome and we got some retribution. Two clean hits imo

I hope he's not as injury prone as Kelser was tho? Plus Kesler sort of went downhill in his point production too early.

AA could probably do what Helm couldn't. Actually legitimize his place in top 6.

I think the best thing that could have ever happened to Mantha was to get passed on the prospect list. Almost like the heat's off, with most of the focus on Larkin and with AA and Bertuzzi sharing the secondary spotlight. He seems to have found his game. That goal last night was a sniper's goal.

But bertuzzi is fast becoming one of my favorite prospects, after the questionable hit to him AA goes out looking for blood then Bert comes in, gloves already off looking to mess people up. Then he sees mantha not wanting to fight Holland(I'd be tentative about getting hurt too after last season) and the refs have to restrain him from jumping in for mantha.

And on manthas goal, the fist pump followed by the most completed arm wrap on the hug to celebrate I think I've ever seen made me laugh a bit.

Exciting stuff for sure.
