So yeah - according to this - he's gonna play in the middle of nowhere...So - do we now call out the 'Bobfather' for the poor reporting? By "Bobfather", do you mean Bob McKenzie? If so, this is what he reported: May 1 - "It seems there is a whole new round of, could Pavel Datsyuk return to the NHL next season, in Detroit? Short answer is it's probably quite unlikely but since Datsyuk will actually be in Detroit tomorrow, worth mentioning" May 1 - "Datsyuk is visiting his agent Dan Milstein in DET. They will talk about Datsyuk's plans to finish his career and where that will happen. Datsyuk recently announced he's leaving SKA in KHL, but the belief is he plans on finishing up with hometown Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg." May 1 - "There's apparently been no dialogue between Milstein and the Wings on Datsyuk and certainly nothing since Steve Yzerman took over as GM. In any case, Milstein and Datsyuk will get together and figure out Pav's next step. It's probably Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg." Maybe you meant someone else's reporting? Looks like Bob McKenzie was spot on. 1 krsmith17 reacted to this

Neomaxizoomdweebie 3,083 Report post Posted May 5, 2019 Doesnt mean he's not going to again be part of the organization in some other capacity in the future, just not as a player. I would be perfectly ok with that. If the Wings bring Feds back and Datsyuk, I think this could be a good opportunity to reestablish a strong presence in Russia. All of the teams scout there now, but there is still the hesitation about Russian players because of the KHL and its still not as easy to get Russian players as it is other Europeans. I think it would be smart to have strong representation over there and maybe help to get this team some talent that other teams can't.

You were the lucky one. I spent the next 4 years in a POW camp surviving on a crude stew made of dirty water, bamboo, and rice. I nearly went insane trying to find the recipe back in the states. Do you even know what an M97 Flamethrower sounds like? It so loud it drowns out everything else. If you focus on that noise long enough you can almost convince yourself you don't hear the screams anymore. Then, once the tank is empty, everything's quiet again. Even the men are quiet. It's not the noise that keeps me awake at night. It's the silence. What keeps me going? It's knowing that, after Da Nang and all boys I left behind in that delta, that Brokeback Mountain on DVD and blu-ray is waiting for me back home. God bless America. 1 F.Michael reacted to this
