There never is a bad time to blame Dan O'halloran for a loss.

This is what happens when you have the best defenseman on earth.

I honestly fail to see how Miller deserves a spot at all. Eaves should not be sat and Miller is redundant.

I always liked Bert as a Wing. I was happy when we signed him again because I had a real good feeling that on his end, he signed because he knew leaving was a mistake. Translation: he wouldn't be taking this for granted. He proved it last year and he's proving it even more this year. No better place than Detroit to find redemption and I hope he wins a Cup here. You can tell he's playing for that Cup, maybe this year even more than last. I love the effort he's made and I couldn't be happier to have him as a Wing.

Why? I'm sure they sound like whiny ass ******* after a loss like that, just like we do here when it happens to the Wings.

And to think you were the one who "eluded" to me as a possible troll...if you seriously can't see what I was referring to, I suggest you re-read your post. I doubt you really are having a hard time comprehending what I'm saying though... probably just being a egocentric *******. On the off chance you really are confused though (which is a very real possibility due to your obvious confusion with the English language while trying to sound more intelligent than you really are over the internet) I've answered your questions.

    1) It is obvious sarcasm. How one can not comprehend something this obvious is beyond me. 2) Have I argued that Hudler's poor play should be excused? No, I simply said that calling his decision stupid is something a third party cannot really say. For all we know, it may really be all about the money for happy Huds. I'm starting to think the first few lines of your last post were serious. 3) http://www.diffen.com/difference/Allude_vs_Elude

I will never forget the look on his face and the emotion he displayed, when he talked in a video I saw, about how grateful he was to the Red Wings organization in 2005 for giving him a chance to play hockey in Detroit. It stuck with me, how devoted he was to this team - he owes them and they will get his best, always. He's a heart and soul player and when healthy, as dependable as they come. I'm a big fan of Dan the Man.

as I stated in another thread "This may sound wierd but I hope Lidstrom doesn't retire until his abilities start to degenerate probably like 3 years, then we are begging for him to retire. The reason for this is because by then the team will slowly have learned to compencate for losing his talent"

A more effective question might have been, "Does anyone *NOT* hope Lidstrom comes back next season?" This would've been the first poll question on LGW that finished with 100% one way.
  24. 1 point
exactly. as long as Lids knows he can play at his standard of greatness, bring him back until he himself calls it quits.

I dread the day he retires. Last season wasn't his best but he was and is better than 98% of the defensemen in the league and it's debatable about the other 2% .
