Well said, aside from his 5 points, there were a fair few other goals we scored this series where Cleary was screening the goalie and didn't get an assist. And as was pointed out in the game 7 GDT he was talking a lot to the rookies on the bench too. Sure the guys's body is breaking down, but why is it breaking down? Because this MAN has put his body on the line time after time after time for this team. Cleary is going to suffer for the rest of his life for what he has put his body through, a little more gratitude and respect from certain keyboard warriors would not be out of place, instead of the graceless, thankless running out of town that seems de rigeur.

I called Hawks in 6, but the Wings have me really wondering if they can knock off the powerhouse Hawks. If the Wings get a split in Chicago, I think they'll take the series. If they lose the first 2 games, they'll have a hard time crawling out of that hole.

I have tremendous respect for the blackhawks. Who I have zero respect for is their fans. I have never seen a fanbase so concerned with cheering about how much a team "sucks", then actually cheering on their own team. The wings score a goal and it's not "lets go hawks" it's "detroit sucks". Please wings steal this game, and make the hawks put those parade plans they have out, to the side. Hopefully Kronwall can use that hawks speed against them, and level some unsuspecting players

Got my fingers crossed, that's for sure. He's completely worthless these days. At least before he was a pretty speedy winger. Now he literally brings nothing to the table. He loses puck battles 99% of the time, isn't physical, rarely scores, yet he plays on our 2nd line while Jordan Tootoo is a healthy scratch??? Completely mind blowing logic right there. I pray we move on from him

Z pointed out that he has more hair on his chin than Getzlaf has on his whole head.

As much as I hate to see Helm out, his absence has given Andersson a chance to show he's a capable center at the NHL level. I appreciate the effort Emmerton puts forth, but I think Dats/Flip/Andersson/Helm gives us much better depth at center. One positive to take out of it.

I wasn't expecting Helm to come back till next season anyway. Back injuries are no joke, take your time Helm, see you next year.
