Just don't give Chicago free time outs like at the end of game 3.

I think Babcock could beat up any other coach.

I've been a critic of Babs not playing Tootoo regularly throughout the playoffs, but there is no reason to change the lines after a big win, especially since Eaves and Miller scored yesterday. Seeing Bickell run around after the whistles and stuff yesterday was especially humorous, considering he had 1 fight in 48 regular season games this season. The guy is built, and he's effective when he plays a physical style, but he's a fake. 8 career NHL fights.

If we win this series against the Hawks, it will be because Babs outcoached Quenneville. Babs has pushed our guys to be able to answer the Hawks and beat them twice, and if he keeps it up I think we can topple the Hawks and win this series. It is scary to see how everyone has responded, and also how Zetterberg has stepped up to lead this team. This playoff run has far exceeded my expectations, but Babs is a prime reason for it. And to think he was passed up for the Jack Adams award... tsk tsk.

Why all the shade still thrown at Cleary....without Daniel the Wings are not in the 2nd round let alone leading 2-1. He personifies playoff hockey player!!!

Do we need to finance this guy and his son to come to game 4 too?

He's always been a good player. People just irrationally translated his injury history as meaning he is a bad player. I hope he stays around. Obviously with his history we can't rely on him, but it's good to have him for insurance.

I'm a big toughness and fighting guy. But absolutely not, you don't win the Cup by fighting guys like Bickell and Shaw. You win the Cup laughing at those 2 dummies continue to screw their team by taking dumb penalties. Keep composed, and this series will be over quick.

    Zetterberg's Slap shot

I didn't notice that. Perhaps it was a mistake? Either way, the childish behavior gets old fast. How about you both agree to disagree.

One of my favorite post game interviews by a coach. Best moment at 0:47...."Tha Sof" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agL3NHgb8Rk

I thought this part was interesting as well. It's certainly seemed like some of Babcock's comments regarding his roster weren't meant solely for reporters. All the injuries this season are certainly looking like a blessing in disguise given how the young guys are playing now, considering many wouldn't have been given the chance if not for the depleted lineup.

Yep, Brunner and him were kicking a ball around and Brunner caught it and threw it at Gus. Apparently his aim is good.

    Hey Hawks fans....

Poor Hawks "fans". They just don't understand that was a blatant in the crease no-goal. Shaw was camped out there. It's not like he had half a boot in the blue for a couple seconds. We all realize it because we have the experiance of Homer getting called for those in the past at critical times. Hawks haven't had any critical games to draw experiance from except in the last 4 years. We wouldn't even be questioning that no-goal call if it was Homer.

    Official Franzen VS Hossa

My beef with Franzen is that he doesnt punish anyone. What good is 6'3 235 if you play like youre 5'10 180? Would be nice if our -6, 6'3 guy could smash Bickell's face in at the end of the game. I hate seeing the Wings take cheap shots with no retribution.

    Watching Ericsson mature

Have you noticed that the Quincey criticism has died off to almost just a mouse squeak now? Kenny's move is looking very good right about now. Q is playing some sound defensive hockey. Babcock likes good positioning. Once Smith gets that feel, our D will be TIGHT.

    Official Franzen VS Hossa

Not Franzen's fault. Not Holland's fault. The fault lies with Jiri Hudler and Mikael Sameulsson. If Kenny had known that those two useless sacks of s*** weren't coming back, he could have contributed the funds he was planning to use on them to use on Hossa.
