Why, because the 2 arms represent the second round of the playoffs, which we can't seem to get past?

Unless Andersson doesnt develop. Move Miller, and play Glendening as a right wing. And That's coming from a Spartan, so you know it's good.

All facts aside, TOI, linemates, I dont care, dont bother.. Weiss HAS the talent to be an amazing 2nd line, and even decent 1st line center. Weiss came from spending his entire career with a team that has arguably the worst team, the worst coaching, the worst management, the worst ownership. Now he's been catapulted into arguably one of the best teams, with the best coaching, the best management, and the best ownership. Pressure on? Adjustment necessary? I'd expect so. Filppula... that little bugger who I still love with every inch of my Red Wing soul... came from one of the best teams, with arguably the best management, ownership, and coaching. Now he's with a lack luster team that emphasizes offense out of its forwards and he's exploded. Big fish in a small pond? Are any of us really that surprised? He's had that level of offensive upside for years. If you told Zetterberg to play the way Lightning skaters play he'd have a load more points too. Would he be a better hockey player because of it? I personally don't think so. Let's see how things go. I think the lighting's high times will slow soon now that Stamkos is injured and they still have no goalie. We aren't even that far behind and we still can't possibly do worse. No where to go but up!

Good thing they didn't do it last season. It would have been 12/3.5, which would have been a half-assed effort.

    Datsyuk in shootouts

I guess Babs won't let Tatar take a shootout shot because he's not defensibly responsible? esteef

I like Andersson's size. Beyond him, we're small down the middle. (Datsyuk, Weiss, Helm, and Glendening are all listed as 5'11. I think Weiss is secretly 5'10 or maybe even 5'9.) And I do like his game. But he's kinda...vanilla? Which on most teams would be a great thing, but on this team, where nearly every forward is a defense-first two-way specialist.... But now I'm kinda derailing the thread.

I'm interested to see how the transition works tonight with Smith in the lineup again. Maybe he is already much more important for our team than most of us (me included) realize.

I'm not sure how he'd do, but its worth a shot with 7 d men up.Especially if alfies out again.

I think the Wings are really missing Weiss's face off ability especially in the defensive zone. He was really getting comfy in the face offs which helped get puck control right away and not have to chase the puck around. Didn't think I would have said this a month ago but the team misses him, he got hurt just when it felt like he was getting ready to take off. They can't afford to have the injury derail all the progress he made.

1 goal, 1 assist. GWG. Looked good on the PP. And he almost had a Blake Wheeler goal ripping down the wing and powering to the front of the net leaning on a guy. Overall, very impressed.

If there were ever a time to try smith up front, it would be now.

Looks to be just another piece of cheezy merchendice sold by the NHL. It's not the first time they've had pretty rediculous products you just roll your eyes to...and probably won't be the last I did find a pretty interesting Daniel Cleary figurine.

Quincey seems to make everyone worse, smith has played better without Quincey, hopefully babs realizes this and scratches Quincey when smith returns and never plays them together again. I know it's a pipe dream though

Watch the game he was a -2 in and got benched after and tell me which goals were his fault, watch the game against Carolina where he was a minus 1 where he made a PERFECT defensive play on the goal and Quincey effed up. Hes not defensive stud by any means but a LARGE part of his plus minus is on Quincey and its not surprise to anyone that hes looked much better with Ouellet and now Kronwall as well

However don't have the tvs in the same room facing each other. If you do that you end up creating a black hole taking you to another dimension where Cleary signed with the Flyers over the summer.
  23. 1 point
No. You will need both HBO and Sportsnet. You have to have one channel on in one room and the other in another room. They will then combine signals and project the 24/7 program onto your living room wall. That's the only way I know of to make it work.

I love that we are calling water melted-ice. I suppose it sounds a bit more marketable, like calling sh*t digested food
