Ansar Khan and Brenden Savage both picked Boston. I'm currently making them rue the day by utilizing the comments of my arrogantly ignorant Mlive character "TheGlistening" to baffle, confuse, and idiotically insult them. In past exchanges I've accused them of being the "liberal media" for reporting Red Wings loses, as well as attempted to arrange a Khan v. Albom celebrity boxing match for a charity of TheGlistening's choice. In that case it was a fundraiser to support my character's made up dance troupe "The Tri-City Manikins" located in Saginaw, MI. Don't ever be a Michigan sports writer and pick the opposition on my watch.

enforcers don't play hockey in the playoffs. We won't have to fight just be tough in scrums and in front of the net Smith has been awesome in scrums and sticking up for his teammates. Having him on the first pairing and abby on the first line it should keep the flies off datsyuk

too low I see it at least 5 with 4 being to the back of the head. So 6 games I will go with 24 Not to mention the number of times Tatar/Nyquist are headlocked around the net while Eddie O spits out his normal blurb about Red Wings subtle interference.

Not a good tooth-to-gum ratio there, Zdeno.

Ladies and gentlemen, you heard it here first, two bold predictions for this series. The Datsyuk and Bergeron lines cancel one another out thus freeing up the eventual reconstituted Legwand, Franzen, and Nyquist line and the Goose gets loose. SECONDLY, and this is the big one...after taking some time to identify the mismatch and grow comfortable with it, Uncle Mike matches up the kid line against the Krejci, Iginla, Lucic line and the latter never get to another loose puck for the remainder of the series. Speed kills. Bonus Prediction: Wings in five. f*** you Boston.

I can't figure out what team I hate more. Columbus or Pens.

I wouldn't trade for his rights, but I'd interested in him as a UFA. RH, big, physical, can move the puck. A good #6 to pair with Smith. If the kids aren't ready to make the jump, we need 2 defenceman. A top 4 guy to go with DeKeyser, and a #6. Greene fills one of those needs.

The thing about Glendenning: his body seems to be an extension of Babcock's brain. So basically, Luke does everything Babcock asks him to do. That why coach loves him. (compared to Tootoo, who Babcock had no control over, and didn't like as a player, at all) Babcock will tell him to play on the edge but not to cross any lines, and that's exactly what Glendenning will do. No worries.

I work with a guy from Boston. I had to deal with the Tigers loss already in the fall when I thought the Tigers were better. This would be perfect redemption.

Usually takes me a game or two into the series to gain inspiration for a new playoff opponent, but here goes: Also, an old standby of mine:
