For a team fighting to tread water every point is important so that means points in October are equally important as those in April. The Bruins can afford to take it slowly because they are still good enough to go on huge point streaks.

I think staged fighting is lame and the NHL can remove that. But if two players get hot and want to go I think it should be good to go and part of the competition.

As much crap as KFQ takes, he has actually been pretty solid lately. Big Rig however has been hot garbage.

For the life of me I don't understand why Babs refuses to play Smith on the PP! He has such good offensive instincts. Can make great passes, knows when to shoot, has a good one timer. Our PP would be better with him on it. Play him with Danny D on the point and 3 forwards up front because the whole 4 forwards thing isn't working.

I know we like to rip on Howard but he has been much better so far this year.

What is wrong with you people? You cannot and will not be in a position to compete for the Stanley Cup every year in a hard capped system. If you are lucky enough to make the playoffs every year in between then that's what you have to be excited about. Plus the emergence of a very young core of players, who (even if only one) can turn into a superstar this season. You also have Mantha, Pulkinen, and 2-3 AHL Defenseman who look very promising already. If Kenny HAD to sign Boyle or Niskanen because we had no OTHER alternatives he would have jacked the offers, but he probably knows a bit more than we do about who we have coming up and wants to atleast give them a try
