    Kevin and Kelly Klima....

Nah, his boys would be named Kevn and Klly

I think we should trade Andersson or Nestrasil for Pulkkinen. Then we trade Kindl for Oulette or Marchenko. The only problem is that I've heard that the Griffins' GM doesn't like to make trades.

Sometimes, the special kid gets to walk with the prom queen. In this case, Babcock has the special kid going out with the prom queen.

Only 70% of my posts are sarcastic bud. Do your homework and get your facts straight before commenting on the nature of my LGW posts. You're hyperbole is at a point where I can't take you seriously anymore.

Fedorov will make it in. Should be a first ballot choice, too.

I guess you would know. You're always so good at picking up on my sarcasm. You never leave blocks of text with links to videos as evidence trying to refute my sarcastic comment. A comment like, idk, Subban is classy?

He was being sarcastic. About 99% of his post are sarcasm. It's to the point where you can't take anything he says seriously. And yes agree in the rookies thing. That's why they need oullete playing this year then when quincey a deal is up we can have sproul and oullete as our third pair(at that point third and firs year players). Still can't believe holland have Quincey a two year deal....then again I can since that's what he does.

Yes. Our offensive struggles are not new nor is it surprising. Several guys are soph and are having struggles. Sheahan, Jurco and tatar. This shouldn't have surprised anyone. The real shock is how good of a start Nyquist has had. Hell even Franzen is in one of his famous hot streaks and we are still struggling. A lot of our troubles come from 2 oft talked about issues that have not been addressed: lack of RHer and lack of front of net players. We have lots of guys that skate well, handle the puck well and even have good shots. But we still lack guys that can go play in front of the other teams G and block the view and bang home the rebounds. This has been an issue since Homer retired. As for being RHed, yes they are naturally quicker with the pass playing on the right side. Firmer passes and more accurate as well.

I think we could move Tatar at his value right now in a package for something useful. The reason why I feel okay moving Tatar is Pulkkinen - he is a goal scorer too and can provide a RH shot in the top 6.

Nyquist is nowhere near hudler....like at all..... Nyquist is our fastest skater (next to helm....gus is more explosive). Nyquist has the second best hands on our team. Nyquist is our most likely player to score a goal on a given night. Hudler was small and he showed it every night...gus doesnt. This is an awful comparison Nyquist is is more comparable to a young zetterberg...

Maybe we can get Subban for Tatar, Larkin, and Sproul/Oulette?

We need a top line winger that can shoot. A top line power forward. A top pairing puck moving Dman. And a bottom 6 made entirely of enforcers to protect these players. Then maybe. Just maybe. Our offense will get going.

Do we need a trade to get our offence going ?

A trade would be nice but I highly doubt it'll happen. You gotta remember holland wants talent without moving any prospects. And on top of that it's hard to actually find good players in the trade market. There's a few but the asking price is too high(evander kane).

Heartbreaking! Bryan Murray was the right guy at the right time to get things going in Detroit, again. He gave allot and allong with Jimmy D made the turn that Wings fans enjoyed for over two decades. Cheers to Bryan! He is a good hockey man!

You might want to add some punctuation after "horrible". I agree, this is horrible. Thoughts and prayers to his family, loved ones.

To be fair I don't believe that's remotely close to what he was saying, but it's difficult no matter what and I don't know that there's a right answer. We've been dealing with a similar situation the past few years with my grandma who had Alzheimer's and dementia. She passed a few weeks ago and while sad, it was quite a relief. I hoped that she wasn't aware enough to be in pain, but with the limited communication it's impossible to know. She used to say all the time that if she ever got that way to kill her, but it's not that easy and in interim between the condition's onset and natural death everyone suffers, we are fragile beings and that can be hard to accept. I hope Gordie is not suffering, that's the best you can ask for.

People acting like Montreal are the superior team. They’re on a hot streak. One thing I’ll miss if Babcock leaves. His ability to simplify during post game interviews. “We didn’t do much good tonight" Right now, I’d love to play the Habs first round. They don’t scare me at all. Tonight, Detroit played like hot garbage. For example, Montreal didn’t shut Datsyuk down. Pavel just didn’t bring it. Not tonight.

Myers close to become a wing?

I wouldn’t give up any first round picks for Myers. Not this year’s, not next’s. Mantha and Larkin are untouchable IMO. They were both first round picks. Image if Holland had traded one of those picks for Bouwmeester in 13.That was the first round pick they used to draft Mantha. Or how about trading last spring’s first, used to draft Larkin, for someone at the 14 deadline? This is why I’m glad Holland is our GM. He’s hanging on to these picks and using them to draft great prospects. Sometimes I think if LGWs had their way, we’d have Tomas Vanek and empty cupboards. So,, no to Myers unless Holland can grab him for cheap.
