The Wings are in the driver's seat the next two games, they really need to prove they haven't completely slowed down. Hoping for a big win from Mrazek, some Datsyuk magic, and maybe a goal or two from Tatar.

Tatar needs two goals to be the first player since 2009 to break the 30 goals plateau. Does he do it? Also, anybody remember when Helen St. James started a trade rumor about him this year? Lol. She's sooooo good at her job.

That's mildly shocking. Nothing against Mrazek, but I would've thought Babcock would take almost any reason to ride Jimmy into the playoffs, slump or not. I like Mrazek, and I think he's taking Jimmy's job next year or the year after, but I just don't know how I feel about this being the year. The one thing I thought that could be working in Mrazek's favor is the puck-moving ability and the fact that we tend to score a lot of goals when he's in net. When he's on, we're scoring and not giving up much. When he's off, we may give up more goals, but we're still scoring a lot of goals. Unless Howard is a far bigger mess than he seems, this is about the only reason I can see for really riding Mrazek into the playoffs.

I tried the last 29 years, it simply isn't working. Don't be so prude.

Anyone think the team's struggles as of late (alot on defence) have to do with Babcock making a decision to leave next year? Maybe word has gotten around the locker room that hes gone? Doesn't seem like much of a stretch since this could probably be the time where he let his decision slip out. For the team to do a full 180 with brutal turnovers and bad decisions could be a direct relation to not playing as well for a coach you know won't be your boss next year

Will tell everyone one thing, we currently don't have a number one who goalie who can steal games on a consistent basis. Of course, turnovers and the defense has helped much either

I love apple turnovers, strawberry turnovers and blueberry turnovers but I absolutely hate, hockey turnovers. Face it, we have to be one the worse turnover machine in the league.

Mrazek isn't better than Howard as of now. He might get there, he might not. Howard is an average #1. He's paid like an average #1. Howard is either limited by a bad groin or it's mental and he just doesn't trust it to hold up. That is his problem.

Why people think liking Petr necessitates disliking Jimmy is beyond me...
