Agreed. Hopefully jurco and glen get switched after jurco gets going.. they could just be limiting his minutes at first but it's up to him to make the most of it. that Nyq-Larkin-Vanek line looks deadly though!

I'm not opposed to relieving Blashill if this team continues to under perform, but not for Gallant lol. He's an old school, conservative, coach whose only NHL coaching success came after he walked on to a team that Dale Tallon had already STACKED for him. So what if he was a Jack Adams nominee, Bob Hartley actually won the Jack Adams and nobody confuses him with a good coach (same with John Tortorella). Gallant's done jack s*** in 5 seasons as an NHL head coach. This is just more "grass is greener" stuff from our (legitimately) pissed of fans. Gallant is no answer. We should be trying to find the next Jon Cooper or Mike Sullivan. Not some Canadian dinosaur.

When save % etc. is that far off, it's telling. Without bottom of the league goal support Howard would have a far better record, without the team scoring almost 4 a game for Mrazek he'd be closer to 2-8.

I hate to say it, but if he can get us a 1st rounder I dont see how we cant do it. We are not winning the cup this year. I dont want to tank, but there is a difference between tanking and acquiring assets for expiring contracts.

Yeah, cause Howard is consistency defined. Some people man. Ya let's trade our very promising goalie of the future after not even two full NHL seasons that he's basically split with Howard where he had some rough patches and didn't play like '99 playoffs Hasek every night. Smartttt!

Getting rid of him is not a smart move unless its a return we cannot refuse. Inconsistency from a young goaltender is completely normal. This is why young goalies are typically paired with an established veteran. If there was no cap, I would have no desire to move Howard.

It is too bad they couldn't use Black Knights. We could've had years worth of Monty Python jokes (T'is but a scratch!). Golden Knights doesn't ring right to me. but I guess it's not so bad. And yes, Hockeymom, I'm sure there'll be a hockey themed porn tribute being made sometime soon.
