Maybe they're hoping if he gets traded enough times in one day that his fiance will get lost in an airport somewhere,

What? You mean the media and activists were too quick to rush to judgment before all the facts were known and before the accused had a chance to defend themselves? That never happens.

NO BEFORE THAT THE PART ABOUT EXCUSES Ken Holland and his COMMUNIST APOLOGISTS find reasons why the Wings can't. Other GMs find reasons why they can. Dale Tallon could've been content to say, "Ottawa won't trade to us, we're in the same division. Welp." Instead, he pulled off THE GREATEST HEIST IN NHL HISTORY. smdh

SO when does Nielsen's flight to LAX depart? I read it the same way. Kings + Ducks only equals 2. Since they took away the neg feature, this is where I "like" ur post, then take it away later just to mess with you.

It seems like this was the 'ol "won't trade within my division, so include a 3rd team" deal I hope so. If they do Zadina should still be there at 6. If so, do you take him or your boy Bouchard? In on the Sharks talk again I see.

Hahaha wow. Sharks basically dumped Boedker’s 4 mill cap hit for a bunch of picks. Impressive job taking advantage of Ottawa’s situation.

There's only one team in LA. Dumby Dreger is FAKE NEWS!

Haha I'm only messing with you. I honestly have no idea on the quality work ESPN put out. I know they were always lower quality when it came to hockey, but I'm sure they've come a long way over the years. The Athletic puts out great content though. Highly recommend. As for the Hughes vs Bouchard debate, to be honest, I'd be happy with either, I just slightly lean more toward Bouchard.

Meh, Tavares / Larkin sounds better... Seriously though, if he wants to go to a contender, Detroit probably won't be much of a consideration. If he wants to be "the guy", future captain, hockey crazed city with a brand new state of the art building, etc. Detroit should be up there at the top of his list...

He didn’t list teams. Seems like a fair guess that we’d at least call and see if there were any mutual interest though. Tavares to LA confirmed?! Kopitar/Tavares down the middle seems pretty alright okay

Wings fans are lazy and they suck.

Tell me. Does this trend mirror the team's entitled fan base (of compulsively impatient and spoiled tantrum throwing babies whose lack of understanding of the cyclical nature of a cap-based league is hair pullingly frustrating) in a linear or exponential fashion?

There's always an excuse. The Wings have become an organization of sniveling, low-T excuse-makers. SAD!

I don't think it would be enough and I wouldn't pay that price for any pending UFA. If it were a sign and trade (those never happen) I'd consider it for sure, but even then, like Swede mentioned, he's 28 years old now, and will be past his prime by the time this team is ready to compete. If we're giving up those kind of assets, I'd much prefer go after a 21-23 year old who can grow and develop with Larkin, Mantha and co.

I don't think it'd be enough. Even if it was enough, I wouldn't make that trade. Karlsson is 28, will cost them a fortune in a year, and they won't be relevant again until he's in his 30's.

Is that a dead hamster joke? Sicko. I should correct myself; no, we don't need size but it would be nice to have some more. More importantly is that I think Bouchard does have elite offensive upside. Like Brent Burns if all goes well, Weber-level the more conservative peak, and Boychuk at the low end. Hughes seems like he'll be more dependent on his teammates and the system he's in, but I'd predict a somewhat similar range in scoring: 30-70 pts. Dobson is probably the guy with the least offensive skill, like 50-ish pts peak but pairing that with the best all-around game. If I had to choose I'd still go with Boqvist due to his age, but I think they all look great and could all be elite players.

Can't win without a team. Plus I am at a huge disadvantage cuz Pur-don't sucks.

Should 'sucks' been plural or singular? Also, early The Cure is actually pretty rad.

Somewhat difficult question since we don't have a full complement of established forwards. It's likely to be a competition between several kids for at least one spot. Looking at what we have so far I'd say Larkin, Zetterberg, Nyquist, Mantha, AA, Bertuzzi, Abdelkader, Nielsen, and Helm are all above any level Turgeon could plausibly reach. If we sign someone like Vanek or better, they'd go in that list as well. Turgeon just hasn't done enough yet to rise that much in one camp. So far he's a notch below where even Abby, Helm, or Glendening were when they were in GR; also below Sheahan, Andersson, and Emmerton, and no shortage of others who never even made the NHL. He has a lot of work to do. Ras and Svech would probably have to perform poorly in addition to Turgeon playing well. I'm doubtful he could be good enough to even reach Glendening's level, but maybe. Frk and Witko would be within reach, and if that was going to be an every day spot in the lineup I'd want the best player. If it were just for a spot in the pressbox I wouldn't care.

    Seattle

Those are beauties. The only problem I see is that the first one has a totem on it which is a sacred object among native tribes of the NW. Seattle is the snowflake capitol of the world, so I am sure it will be seen as offensive: Not by American Indians, but by the Social Justice Warriors who love to be offended for everyone else.
