3 pointsI thought Mickey doesn't do these faraway road games...? Not that I'm complaining.

Agreed. I'm sure not watching now because I think the Wings are going to do great things. I'm just watching because hockey is fun and the Wings are my team. -

He'll get it. He'll just fart a lot and be bloated is all. Poor Ken. -

13 seconds in, Jets score. I blame kickazz. -
2 pointsI would imagine Franzen's information release about his current state of health has made a few hockey players think twice before attempting to continue.

Rick Nash retires -- concussions just too much
Neomaxizoomdweebie and one other reacted to kipwinger for a post in a topic
This is a bummer, Nash was always one of my favorite non-Wings. Guy was an absolute force for a short period there and is exactly the kind of guy I always hope Mantha will model his game after. Busted his ass every shift and was "physical" by virtue of being a physically dominant human being. Much has been made about how big guys are unfairly criticized for their effort because they're just so athletic that it looks easy. Not a problem with Nash. He never looked like he was coasting. At his peak he looked like the biggest, fastest, most skilled, guy on the ice. Mostly because he was. -

1 pointI'm in a super-comfy state of Wings fandom right now. If we lose, awesome, we've got a real shot at slipping to 31st overall within the next few days. If we win, awesome, wins are fun.

1 pointDude, he's a veteran that brings experience and would show the ways to the young players...
-
1 pointthank you Vanek.... as usual
-
1 pointSo we're just gonna injure all their players. Bold strategy. Vanek is lazy and he sucks.
-
1 pointSo much for Helm's happy homecoming. He's now the most hated guy in the building, lmao.
-
1 pointActually, yeah, Winnipeg isn't all that far. I always think of it as being closer to the West Coast than it really is.

1 pointLong as they cover his celiac dz diet he gud bruh Muhahahah Hughes.

Same, idk what's going on. Also AA has scored like half of our goals the past few games, why bury him with Glendening and Helm to put Vanek on the 2nd line? I don't like it. I should be here for this game, was on vacation for the past week but i'm back and ready to cheer on this incredibly below average team. Nyquist sucks and he's going to have a bad game. LGW!! -

That's WHY it's such a good tank. Gritty was the distraction from the beginning. -

I want Hughes/Kakko. Will be disappointed with too many wins. -
1 pointI don't really know why Philly would be in "tank" mode though. They've got a decent enough team, on paper, and have some really good prospects in the pipeline. I mean, they might as well tank now that their season is lost, but they seem like a team that was set up for long term success.
