    He was a great goalie. The cause of a few playoff disappointments. but chasing him in Game 7 of the WCF in '02 was great payback. Can't forget his statue of liberty move in Game 6 either..so sweet. Bernier almost got roasted there...s*** that Petterson kid is FAST.

    Agreed. Goalies used to be a different breed. Hextall, Potvin, Roy, Belfour...all unpredictable and prone to losing their s*** and throwing punches or chopping legs with their stick if you got too close.

    Just big ones... not skilled or interesting goalies. Just size and D in front of them. I miss the days when a goalie could win a game for his team... oh, drat...

    So, in his only game in his hometown this season, Blashole decides to make Cholo a healthy scratch. WTF is up with that move? No reason for that crap unless he is sick, which he wouldn't have been running around with family yesterday, if he was.

    I think scratching Cholowski is a terrible decision, but the timing of it makes it even worse... Cholo is from Langley, which is less than an hour from Vancouver. I'm sure he, along with all of his family and friends have had this game circled on their calendar all season. It would suck to see him a healthy scratch for his first game against his hometown team...

    Do you have a reputable source or is this just fan talk from other forums? I think this would be a case of overrating value on Kronwall. I'd be surprised if he could get us a 1st, let alone other pieces along with it.
