Alcohol definitely involved. He was a known drinker and I doubt he pisses in the zam pit when he's sober. Also Newman could barely still sing.

His development has simply been becoming not a liability. That isn't good enough for a guy who is supposed to score. Going into this season I was on board with giving him one last chance before jumping on the bust bandwagon; which I feel was fair given his age. Zero improvements. Bust. He'll make a career for at least a few more seasons bouncing around from team to team with GMs hoping he can find some of that draft pedigree in him. He'd make a semi-valuable trade addition right now only due to his age in hopes a change of scenery works. But it won't. Veleno has shown growth over time. He is okay.

Same fans that were wishing him ill during his liver transplant are wishing condolences now. I get it, no one is gonna publicly say glad he's dead. But 99% of Sens fans are secretly glad he's dead. They're going to have a rough summer, but this is a bright time for Ottawas future. How long does Dorion last under new ownership? 1 day or 1 hour?
