    No, if Canada wins it's a ref job, if Sweden wins it's Red Wing Power fueled by Captain Kronner. That being said, I'll be making myself scarce until after everyone's a Red Wing (and Red Wing fan) again. My heart can't take it. Good luck everybody, and HEJA SVERIGE!

    I was afraid it was his announcement that he was coming out of retirement. Now that would be "comedy at it's highest level". Better motivation would come from a letter written by Sweden's Women's Olympic hockey team.

    Both Z and Datsyuk are actually improving year after year. Z's career won't be as long as Datsyuk's but I'm not worried about either being less effective. Age is just a number, and I'm surprised so many people cling to these outdated notions of 30+ year olds suddenly becoming useless old horses. With medicine and conditioning the way it is these days, that's not as true as It used to be. I actually hope this gives Z a new lease on playing. I know he'll have back pains forever probably, but this could help him in the long run couldn't it?

    You're forgiven because you're from Winnipeg and I'm sure he is special to the city. His whining about refereeing vs the Wings and team Canada have soured me on him completely. Legend for sure, but he'll never be among my favorites.
