marcaractac 3,963 Report post Posted October 24, 2014 It's October..... And the team is having a great start despite playing some tough teams this month. Are we not allowed to be excited? Oh yeah, you're one of those who have been predicting doom and gloom. Sorry your predictions have been completely wrong thus far. But not really. 4 Hockeymom1960, krsmith17, sjr2012 and 1 other reacted to this
Wheelchairsuperhero 1,453 Report post Posted October 24, 2014 What the f*** just happened? I'll take it and say the hockey Gods are making up for a couple lost points so far this year. Something's got to give with this power play though, they just look so stiff out there compared to other teams. 3 marcaractac, wings87 and aflac9262 reacted to this
VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted October 24, 2014 It may just be October but this was one of the harder schedules for us all year. We played mostly all top tier teams and are hanging at the top. Definitely a good sign but obviously no one is planning the parade yet. 6 hillbillywingsfan, dat's sick, krsmith17 and 3 others reacted to this

Definitely a good sign but obviously no one is planning the parade yet. Although Boston is appearing less and less like a top tier team. Definitely Anaheim, Montreal and Pitt though, and I suspect Boston will improve.

Vladiator 116 Report post Posted October 24, 2014 PK is still at 100%, PP.. let's just not go there. I was about 20 minutes behind on my DVR and I was tempted to just FF through the 3rd so I could start watching the Thursday night NFL game. Glad I didn't. Legendary D In 03 50 Report post Posted October 24, 2014 I think I scared the s*** out of a couple of neighbors during those three goals. I was going nuts. Great comeback, boys, but let's get three solid periods on Saturday!
Nightfall 871 Report post Posted October 24, 2014 And the team is having a great start despite playing some tough teams this month. Are we not allowed to be excited? Oh yeah, you're one of those who have been predicting doom and gloom. Sorry your predictions have been completely wrong thus far. But not really. Just based on the quality of threads in the offseason, this team was pretty much given up and left for dead. With every loss, these naysayers get stronger, with every win, they get weaker. The "Tank it!" thread is all you need to read in order to get an idea of just how bad it got. The Wings have played solid considering their first 10 games were considered to be the "Month of Death". They are to be commended for sure. Howard has turned his game around. The kids are fun to watch. Tonight was a real gut check victory and the team is going to be stronger because of it. 3 krsmith17, marcaractac and Wingsfan72 reacted to this
