LeftWinger 5,129 Report post Posted November 21, 2015 Hmmm....in place of Jurco coming back soon, I wonder? Crossing fingers he clears, he will be a nice replacement on the 4th line soon. Guess Andy beat him out for that 13th spot.
MrazekFanBoy 223 Report post Posted November 21, 2015 Andy is a decent fourth liner who can play center and kill penalties, plus he has more experience makes sense to me idk why they would send him down when Jurco still has like a week left??

PavelValerievichDatsyuk 1,935 Report post Posted November 21, 2015 Good move. I've never been a Ferraro supporter. This would have to be for Jurco, wouldn't it? Would like Jurco to get in tonight. I know he also played last night, but he might be a bit fresher than our guys who took a bit of a physical beating last night. 1 canadian wings fan reacted to this

Jurco is still on the roster even though he's on a conditioning stint. If Ferraro is better they have to take him off of IR. If he's coming off of IR, he's gotta go somewhere... 1 krsmith17 reacted to this
marcaractac 3,963 Report post Posted November 21, 2015 No surprise really. While Andy is highly unremarkable, he is a very responsible player. A solid but unremarkable 4th liner. Ideal for the role as an extra forward.
nyqvististhefuture 1,002 Report post Posted November 21, 2015 Rather of had Ferraro over Andersson but doesn't matter .. Don't think anyone here before the season began would think either of the 2 would be a redwing going into the 2016-2017 season anyways Think with Ferraro's speed and his dad being an ex nhler(probably use his connections as a favor) he'll get picked up for sure Can see one of these teams claiming him Toronto Edmonton Winnipeg Calgary

WingsallTheway 383 Report post Posted November 22, 2015 Ferraro claimed by Boston, per Bob McKenzie twitter. Just saw this, quite surprised to be honest. Didn't have much of a future here so I'm not torn. Boston plays us at home Wednesday, talk about awkward for a rookie haha 1 Jacksoni reacted to this

krsmith17 7,191 Report post Posted November 22, 2015 Not a huge loss by any stretch, but this should have been Andersson. However, if it were I bet Boston wouldn't have claimed him anyway... 2 nyqvististhefuture and wings4thecup06 reacted to this

Wingnut1989 165 Report post Posted November 22, 2015 (edited) Meh no loss here, not really sure how he made the team in the first place. Im sure his dad had some pull in it. Edited November 22, 2015 by Wingnut1989

jimmyemeryhunter 2,747 Report post Posted November 22, 2015 (edited) He gas to at least be on the active roster with Boston since they claimed him, so assuming his knee is fully healed well probably see him on Wednesday. I'm guessing they're going to give him a shot at filling kellys spot at fourth line c. Edited November 22, 2015 by jimmyemeryhunter
wingfan1991 221 Report post Posted November 23, 2015 He improved quite a bit I thought this year... Much more energy and faster. He was a solid 4th line, definitely should have been Andersson or Jurco instead of him.

Come on, that would be such a horrible management move, we could at least get a decent return for him in a trade. ESPECIALLY Ferarro over Jurco? 4th liners are a dime a dozen, we have 8 guys in the AHL who can come and replace him. note: I am not a Jurco supporter Edited November 23, 2015 by WingsallTheway 2 e_prime and Dominator2005 reacted to this
Bill Berzeench 310 Report post Posted November 23, 2015 For all the people just shaking this off, you need to have your heads examined. 2nd rnd draft pick, 32nd overall in 2009. Ken Holland's inability to act let our division rival pick him up for free. We spend a high draft pick, we train a high draft pick, then we lose him for free to a division rival. The Red Wings put the wrong player on waivers and failed to make a trade so they wouldnt have to. Stupid gm. 1 DRW Dominance reacted to this
