They did this for a few games last year, and it was extremely annoying, obnoxious and distracting. I thought they had chosen against it. Well, unfortunately it looks like they are back at it again. Does anyone know if this is something they plan to do with all the games now? Personally, I can't f'in stand them. As if having big ads on the ice, on the boards, as well as pop up ads on the tv screen wasn't enough... -
1 pointSame exact thing happened to my buddy during weight lifting, and what doctors initially thought happened was a cerebral aneurysm. What he told me was it wasn't exactly an aneurysm, but a stroke for one reason or another. Rehab is lined up for the next 3 years, lets hope Pavelec is a bit more lucky than my friend.

I've been reserving judgment on proclaiming Datsyuk my favorite player of all time. This might have sealed it. Undisputed most complete player in the game. I'm not gonna bother nitpicking the details of who won or lost. Pavs was more than Perry could handle and that's more than good enough for me. I honestly believe that if Pavs decided to work on the fighting aspect he would come up with dangle style knockouts that nobody has ever seen before. He's that creative. -

Hey!! Don't forget about Jimmy Howard giving Ferry the old blocker and glove wash as well. I'm beginning to really like Howie. As for Dats fighting, I never want to see that again, if he would have been injured in that, I would have been pissed! The crowd was epic during and after the fight, I simply cannot believe Datsyuk now has a Gordie Howe hat trick! Insane!! GO WINGS!! -
