I don't understand this reasoning. He did that 26 times last night. They just didn't look difficult enough or something? And honestly if Ozzy stays consistent but not great for the season, that's enough to carry the Wings a looong way, especially as backup. Him being very good and consistent got the Wings to the Cup finals two years running. I'd take that any day over Fleury's spectacular saves followed by him scoring on himself with his ass.

Bert's goal didn't strike me as a fluke at all. That seemed to be exactly what Stuart wanted to do. In other words it was a normal hockey game.

I'm sure he knew what the Wings offered tho. Highly doubt his agent just said no without telling him about it. Salei is better then Lilja anyways. If Lilja got elbowed in the head like Salei did last night he'd be done for the year.

I've been reserving judgment on proclaiming Datsyuk my favorite player of all time. This might have sealed it. Undisputed most complete player in the game. I'm not gonna bother nitpicking the details of who won or lost. Pavs was more than Perry could handle and that's more than good enough for me. I honestly believe that if Pavs decided to work on the fighting aspect he would come up with dangle style knockouts that nobody has ever seen before. He's that creative.

I tend to pay more attention to what's happening on the ice, rather than what's being superimposed on the glass. No biggie to me.

A lot of the people on here are watching illegal streams of Wings' games on the internet. I can't blame teams for doing this.

As for Dats fighting, I never want to see that again, if he would have been injured in that, I would have been pissed!
