We won. Of course it's possible that the Sharks could end our streak. We do play them again next season.

You can end the streak - we'll settle for our playoff success. And by the way, it's impossible to come to a Wings board and be a "fellow" Sharks fan.

Thanks for clearing it up for us that the streak is going to end sometime. I'm pretty sure opponents have been trying for over three months to beat the Red Wings at JLA to no avail. Best of luck (not really) to your diving team tomorrow.

Yeah, by 1% and last season's poll had Detroit at #1. It is only obvious that if 15% of the players would want to play for Chicago, that their head coach would be #1 as well. OF course last season Bylsma was #1 with Detroit being #1... ...besides, that whole come to Detroit because it's Detroit has died down since the Cap era began. More parity in the league has led to more successful teams. But one thing cannot be denied, no matter who "wants" to come play here, the ones that do rarely ever leave and it hasn't stopped the Big Red Machine from being the most successful NHL franchise in the last 20+ years! Which is huge considering that the "CAP" and "PARITY" was supposed to bring Detroit Monster down to its knees... ...epic fail by Bettman. Maybe he will try again this summer...

is this "great sigh" going to be anywhere near as bad as the "great sigh" you are going to have when you realize that in the past 2 years when you finally had a team better than the Red Wings, you STILL could not close the deal and win the cup, and now that window of opportunity is closed? that my friend is a "great sigh". this is a nice streak, something to be proud of, but it is nothing compared to a championship. i know its impossible for you to comprehend this since it has never happened to you. perhaps your team not getting anywhere near the Stanley Cup, EVER, has caused you to view this streak as something bigger than it is?

This writing style sort of reminds me of another person that posts on here. Pretty FISHY to me. Just plain STINKY.....Maybe I'll just go eat a TACO. ll

Is it just me, or does the style of writing here remind anyone else of those emails that you'll get randomly from someone in 'another country' giving you a 'lucrative' offer? Something like - 'if only you would give them you bank account information, they would send this sum of money to you so you can help them out of their terrible situation and THEN, of course, you get to keep some of the money...' Anyway, it is entirely possible that the Sharks will win. Either way, though, if anyone is laughing at the Red Wings... they need to take a closer look at the standings and then promptly shut their mouths.

I don't see how you can take Joey Mac out of the net until he loses. I like Jimmy, but as Mickey would say, MAC is "hotter than a firecracker" right now. Lets ride J-MAC until he loses a game!

I love the way SOME of the Sharks play. Pavelski is one of them. That said, eff Ryane Clowe, and I think Brad Stuart's jersey DOES say it all.
