In response to Detroit #1 (cause the quote function is still broken for whatever reason for me) Not only that, but the league feels that this is 15 games, but Emery attacking someone the same way except with gloves OFF, which is worse, is worthy of zero games. The league is a complete joke when it comes to suspensions.

Once again, we look like crap against a team who's facing a back to back. Tampa didn't get to their hotel room until 4:00 a.m? That meaningless thing only matters when we're playing a back to back. I know we played last night, but we were at home and didn't have to travel. It's because our team is soft, lazy and easy to play against.

I'm afraid we won't win a game during that entire show.

Well the league doesn't want to anger mighty Mario L. maybe just maybe the best owner in all of sports should hire Gretzky. I would have been fine with 15 IF the ratio would have been there, but it's not. Neal is a repeat offender, did something really disgusting and got away with 5?! What Thornton did was way worse sure but NOT 10 games worse add to that how leaguewide known thug got nothing for assaulting someone, there just is no rational thinking behind these suspensions. If I'm Chiarelli I'd be waiting for the next meeting and go Islandersstyle against the Penguins then the league will have something to look at ...*g*

Recenty theres been alot of articles coming out in the wake of Nyquist and Tatar's offensive explosion. Figured there should be a place to post said articles and discuss them without clogging up other threads and getting off topic. Tampa played extremely boring hockey in this game. Just chip it out of the zone, dump it in, stay back, and wait for a mistake (thanks Kindl). Good gameplan against the broken Wings but so boring. #1 priority: fix the PP!!! We could have won so many games with a half-decent PP. Stop playing Kindl on it. Eaves? Really? Stop with Alfie on the point. Make changes. Pretty ugly to watch this team right now. Z is like the engine that drives the bus, Helm is the wheels. Datsyuk is the bus driver but he is not himself right now (f*** you Cowen). Franzen is that guy who can help push the bus sometimes and now he went down too. Things just get worse don't they?? At this point it's looking unlikely we'll see many points for a few weeks. Good stuff: * I liked Jurco. He didn't look outmatched, he just needs NHL experience. Keep him up. * Tatar and Nyquist played with good jump. Shame they're not getting rewarded lately. * Mrazek played well. Can't ask for more out of him. * Glendening is good, as is Eaves. aaaaand that's it. Kronner had some bad plays. Kindl is horrible and I want him gone. Bert is painfully slow and anytime he's out there when we're in the defensive zone we're basically on the PK. Alfie is wasting a ton of great scoring chances lately and has to start finishing.

This is really hard to watch. There will be better days ahead this season, but boy the Red Wings are a mess. Desperately need Z back because there somehow seems to be a leadership void without him around.

Good call -- I didn't notice that until seeing the replay, but Tatar was less at fault than Kindl there. Pass from Kindl really handcuffed Tatar.
