I just don't think people realize how bad our defense is. And I don't just mean that they are bad defensively(e.g. Smith and Q). We were built around having a blue line that can move the puck and help out offensively. However, we lost all of those quality guys the past few years and our style of play has changed drastically. Yet, we keep making the playoffs. It's all up to Holland now. We need at least one top pair defensemen (I would argue we need two legit top four d-men) and we are right back to where we were in 2008. -

Obviously, DTE is shelling out money for that. No different than a "Belle Tire Power Play" or the "Call Sam Studios" on TV. I agree though, it's annoying. -

It could happen. Some of those guys did play for both teams. I'm just surprised that they aren't being featured on the Leafs side as well. After looking at the Leafs roster, I am surprised that they have so few people. Of course, if the second game is Cup winners, the Leafs might be unwrapping the mummies as we speak. (Oh, that was mean.)
