2015-16 GDT Sign-up Sheet

Okay, I finally have the fan pack assembled. It contains a Red Wings plastic bag, a teddy bear, programs from a few games (1 being this season's home opener), a Hank mini bobblehead, a glowstick from the home opener and a puck. Sign up to create a funny, silly, tacky GDT for a chance to win. -

This should be a familiar theme to Predators fans. Getting eliminated in the first stage. -

Perhaps the Habs should be calling this guy up to solve their scoring problems -
1 pointJohn Scott has more all-star goals than Sidney Crosby - the "best player in the world".

Linking Star Wars' Kessel Run to Phil would be the only way for it to make sense. "..well, he did the Kessel run, (6 hamburgers, 1 lg pizza, a bucket of chicken wings, and a 6 piece cinnabon pack), in less than 12 parsecs," -

Hey guys check this out. http://www.wingingitinmotown.com/2016/1/31/10879490/dylan-larkins-all-star-fastest-skater-run-was-legit Mathematically speaking Larkin was still faster than Gartner even in the new format. So that argument sort of goes out the window. -

Probably. one thing i never understood about that event is you had the fastest skater competition but a couple of the fastest skaters in the NHL can't go because they are not "All-Stars" so the statistics really don't mean too much from that standpoint. -

I think it would be close. Now that Larkin holds the record though, I could see them racing in practice at some point. (Hopefully they do, and hopefully they record it and put it on a new episode of wingspan, or show it during pre-game) -
1 pointAs promised: It was back in high school and there was a blood drive going on. I signed up to give blood during my 4th hour so I would have a valid excuse to get out of my English class and roll straight into lunch. I went down to the room where they were all set up and gave blood rather uneventfully. I ended up with a nice bruise on my arm and because I had two hours of art in the afternoon, I figured that holding my blood-giving arm up to paint for two hours wasn't a good idea (but really I just didn't feel like going in). So I decided to skip my afternoon classes and went home and took a nice nap on the couch. I woke up really groggy a couple hours later, feeling like I had to pee like crazy. I got up and made my way to the bathroom, but when I got there I briefly forgot why I was there. I stood around for a couple seconds wondering why I wasn't still napping on the couch when I suddenly surmised that if I came to the bathroom I probably had to poop. So I went to the toilet and stood in front of it like I was about to sit down on it and lost my train of thought again. When I recovered I remembered I had to pee and so i started peeing. It wasn't until I felt the warmth in my crotch and down my leg did I realize something wasn't right. I looked down and I still wasn't facing the toilet. And my pants were still up. And in the time it took me to put two and two together I had emptied my bladder.

Should we nullify hardest shot records now to because the sticks have flex? It's a skills competition record. It is meaningless fun. -
1 pointMy first reaction: it should've been Dan O'Halloran instead. My second reaction: damn! In NHL it very much depends. I remember an accident when a certain Penguin cross-checked referee and got away with it just fine.

Dennis Wideman Suspended 20 Games
TheXym reacted to jimmyemeryhunter for a post in a topic
It kind of would be though.Refs are completely untouchable, as they should be, the standard suspension for hitting a ref is higher than hitting a player on the other team. Which is why this hit is as big of a deal as it is. Had he hit a player like that, he may get a 2 minute penalty for cross checking, but it's not something you look at as a suspendable hit. Since it was a ref, it is something you look at, because completely intentional or not, the refs have to be protected from getting hurt. -

Buffalo gave up quite a bit for lehner to be their goalie of the future, I doubt they'd want jimmy unless lehner becomes a sieve. -

Absolutely amazing design, some goalies really like to go over the top with their design but for whatever reason Howard hardly has any bad design. -
