    Given Howard's inability to stay healthy the last couple of seasons, I'm not sure what sane person would consider Mrazek expendable at this point, let alone right after a solid start.

    I like JVR but I'm disappointed that he doesn't seem to play a heavy game given his massive and well trained frame. The Wings are in no position to give up their first rounder this year because it could be the first top 10 or even top 5 in decades trading that for a rental would be stupid.

    If JVR was signed long term maybe, but he has 1 year left after this season which would essentially make him a rental. I dont want to lose a first rounder for a rental.
