    * Who: Detroit Red Wings (17-19-6) vs. Pittsburgh Penguins (26-10-5) * Where: Joe Louis Arena I have no skills with this, and while I might be the only one watching - or trying to, since NHL Network stole this one from Center Ice and all other for-pay sources... here is the line up: http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/2017/01/red_wings_lineup_vs_penguins_j_2.html#incart_river_index Gustav Nyquist-Henrik Zetterberg-Anthony Mantha Andreas Athanasiou-Frans Nielsen-Thomas Vanek Tomas Tatar-Riley Sheahan-Dylan Larkin Drew Miller-Luke Glendening-Justin Abdelkader Steve Ott and Tomas Jurco are scratched. On defense, Nick Jensen will play his 10th game, which will require him to go through waivers in order to be reassigned to the Grand Rapids Griffins. Danny DeKeyser-Mike Green Jonathan Ericsson-Alexey Marchenko Xavier Ouellet-Nick Jensen Ryan Sproul in scratched. In goal: Jared Coreau (starting) Petr Mrazek

I'd rather see a Pittsburgh vs. Chicago final, where terrorists seize the building in game 7, preventing a clear winner.

    Mid Season review

Agreed. Wish they'd quit trying to stifle anyone's offensive ability to mold them into a Selke Trophy player. Adjust the system to the players you have and let Larkin be himself. Seems to be working ok for Mantha.

Yeah I don't get how you think that the Wild/Wash would be boring. But if I were to choose, I'd say Pittsburgh.

Not sure how that could be seen as "boring". Not to mention, a PIT-CHI SCF would likely cause me to stop watching hockey a week early. Puke. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk

Who is the Most Valuable Blackhawk?

    Bitter aren't we...

Well considering I like watching Carlson and Ovie, and a lot of my friends are Wild fans, yes I would.

Ever since Toews had his temper tantrum in the playoffs against us in 2013, which led to Seabrook having to come over to him and calm him down, I have been under the impression that guys like Keith and Seabrook are the one's truly leading the team. I'm sure Toews has his moments, but that exposed his safety net on a very large stage.

Call me weird (most do), but it's kind of exciting to see what becomes of this terrible, terrible team. I grew up watching the Wings suck in the 80s, dominate in the mid 90s -2000s, and now suck again. There is going to have to be a philosophical and personnel sea change, and that really intrigues me. Can't wait to see the new incarnation, however many years that takes.

    DeKeyser to the PP

This guy can't hit water from a boat. The only good news is that we can't fall out of last place. May as well try something different.
