And even if it's a matter of effort (i.e. "Kronwall sucks, but he gives his all, all the time. Mantha needs to learn to give his all, all the time"), the first Rangers goal happened largely because Riley "Can do no wrong in the eyes of the Lord" Sheahan was inexcusably lazy/unfocused. And you could absolutely argue the Kronwall giveaway that led to the second Rangers goal was also inexcusable laziness/lack of focus. No, the organization is just run by arrogant dinosaurs.

So going by Blashill's accountability mantra, Abby, Sheahan and Kronwall will be sitting out next game no? Oh, they aren't rookies? Sad!

Let's scratch Mantha x2, but let Kronwall continue to be horrible without reprimand. Very motivating for these youngsters.

Wouldn't be a Mrazek game if he didn't give up 3 right?

I'm watching, because there's only 9 games left at The Joe! I'm always complaining about the announcers . The problem not watching Mickey and Ken, the other guys always talk about stuff we already know, like Sheahan not scoring a goal yet, the bouncy end boards, the Wings playoff streak is going to end at 25 years, the octopus tradition started in 1952 and the 8 legs represents the 8 wins it used to take to win the Cup, etc.. I'm always going, "yeah, yeah, yeah, I already know that" . I'm annoying to watch a game with!

He is slightly badmouthing the team and the city it seems: "There's so much stuff to do," Jurco said. "In Detroit, we were so bored, my girlfriend and I, we didn't know what to do. ... There wasn't much to do. Here there's so much stuff to do." "The biggest difference is that here we're told to make plays instead of just making safe plays and chipping it in and playing safely," Jurco said. "Here you actually should create something if you want to stick in this lineup because there's so many creative players." "I played that third-, fourth-line role so it's in me now," Jurco said. "I have that bad habit sometimes to play safe and chip it in. When I played juniors (and) in the AHL, I was a creative player, so it takes a little while for me." http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/hockey/blackhawks/ct-tomas-jurko-adjustments-blackhawks-spt-0312-20170311-story.html

3 on 1 shorthanded. Let's blame the goalie. That's logical. Yea he could have played it better but that play should have never happened

I think there are a ton of flaws in using some of these stats to try and hand out a best defensive forward award. I have no issue with considering the stats, but if you start placing too much reliance on it, that's when I have a problem. Way too much in some of those stats that are way beyond the control of the player in question.

So sick of the whole "YouTube star" bulls***... Jurco has the skill as a hockey player, not just stick handling challengers... He proved it in junior, and in Grand Rapids, and even his first stint in Detroit when he was actually utilized properly, in the top 9. He clicked on a line with Tatar and Sheahan, but for whatever reason neither Babcock and Blashill reverted back to it. No one is saying Jurco is an elite talent, but he absolutely does have middle 6 NHL talent. Name a none elite player (middle 6 winger) that would have success on a line with the likes of Glendening, Andersson, Miller, etc. There are very few. Imagine how awful Tatar or Nyquist would look with those scrubs. Imagine Mantha coming up this year and playing a game with them, then being scratched for 7 because he didn't produce. It's very easy for a coach to ruin a players career, I just hope for Jurco's sake, he got out of there before it was too late. I don't expect him to be a point per game player in Chicago or anything, but 30-40 points, middle 6 winger is realistic if he's utilized properly, and I think he will be.
