I am the only person I know who is working today. NHL apparently thinks the US celebrates MLK Day and hence we have this ridiculous game time. I will go back and forth between game and office (I work at home, they closed my office here years ago)... I want to see it if they manage to win this. I never stop believing that is possible, as I have survived worse odds at my job than what the Wings are facing. If I can do it, so can they, LGRW!

Goaltending is Voodoo. I'm with @krsmith17: If we had our team set and the only missing piece was goaltending maybe then I'd take the risk picking Askarov in Round 1. But since that is not the case Yzerman should pass and rather load us up with a few goalie prospects during later rounds. Whoever is advocating singing Holtby should take a look at his stats the last three years: .907, .911, .897. He is probably as done as Howard is. Will some dumb GM throw money and term at him regardless? Probably. But it shouldn't be our GM. I'm all for singing Lehner though, if we get the chance.

THEE Corey Pronman said that? Wasn't Corey also the one who was forced to begrudgingly admit that he was wrong about Seider during training camp this fall? That he had him ranked way too low at the draft and that he hadn't even watched Seider play that much prior? Seider was THE BEST player in his draft class. Better and more valuable than Jack Booos and Krappo Cracko. Years from now folks will do their little re-drafts and Seider will be #1 without question.
