My ex took the offer sheet and I felt no need to match. Plenty of players on the market to fill her role on the bottom...6

As a person who is overweight myself, I have no one to blame but myself. 2 years ago I hired a personal trainer, went to the gym twice a week, consulted a nutritionist, and started eating sensibly. I lost close to 75 pounds in like 8 months and was the fittest and healthiest I had been since my 20's. Then life happened. Got married. New house. New father. Money and time was no longer there to keep it up. Gained most of it back since then. That said, as a "fatty", fat shaming does not bother me or offend me. I am where am I because of my own bad choices, poor diet, lack of exercise, etc. It IS my fault. I am NOT healthy at any size, and it's NOT a disease. If people are going to call me out on my choices, then so be it. I have the power to stop it. I don't need others to be offended for me. I am perfectly capable of being offended on my own. And I am not a fragile, weak-minded person who has to be offended by every little joke aimed at obesity. They just don't bother me. And I find it hard to believe that there are people out there who are so delicate that they need a "safe space" to cry when their wittle feewings git hert. This is not helpful to cope in the real world, which is NOT always nice. Prejudice is bad. Hate is bad. Violence and abuse are bad. But if shaming those who shame others is the solution, then no one is a good person.

The jury is still very much out on this kid. If he breaks out into a star winger, he'd hardly be the first high draft pick to have a sluggish start. Regardless, a 50 point winger is probably a safe bet for his floor. The question is how much will he improve on that? The tools are certainly there. His most recent play, while I wouldn't say incredible, showed promise.

Imagine that. >bans all the interesting LGW members >"this site isnt interesting anymore" >goes to HFboards She treated this place like treblinka for 10+ years and now she wants to hang out in Argentina. She wouldnt survive a war trial here. 90% of those left would vote to ban her.

I feel bad for Brendan Leipsic. All those messages were said in private. And hes gonna have his career ruined cause of them and hackerman. U cant expect someone to be PC and PR compliant in their private group chat with their friends. Guarantee almost every player in the league is in one of these and wild s*** gets said on the daily.

Based on your other warnings posted in the other thread. Maaaaaybe a rant against Franzen? But in 08 he was still playing well (13 g 5 asst) so that makes me question your warning. I think you were setup by someone!!!

I know to all of us who make average or less, 8 to 4 million doesn't seem like a big deal, but it IS. It's cutting his quality of life in HALF. Do you guys get that? Whatever payments he owes, debt he's incurred, other costs, he has to continue to pay at the same levels as he has been with half the income. It makes sense that he doesn't want to cut his quality of life in half just to play for a good team.
